Just want to compare amounts really. How much does your baby typically eat in one day?

Usually between 24-27 oz...and she's probably 11 lbs now. She's going through another growth spurt right now, so it's hard to tell.

She eats 6-7 times per day (when not going through a growth spurt, otherwise it's around 10-11), usually a 4oz bottle. But, she's been eating less at her last night feeding due to falling asleep...maybe 3 oz for that one?

Now that I'm back at work, he's bottle fed between the hours of 8-5:30. He takes at least 16 ounces during that time period, usually more. I had to start pumping an extra time during the day to keep up with him. He eats fiendishly when I'm home and still wakes up at least twice (and lately four times) per night to feed. So I'm *guessing* that he's at least consuming 36 ounces per day but probably more. He eats ALL THE TIME!

Pippa drinks 3 to 4 bottles of expressed breast milk each day at the sitter's house between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Each bottle has 5 ounces. Therefore, she drinks between 15-20 ounces just at the sitter's house.

I'm still breastfeeding but when I give him the bottle he takes 5-6 ounces of formula or about 5 ounces of breast milk.

We make a carafe of 32 oz of formula a day and we fill his bottles with 6 oz. Lots of times he will only drink 4 or 5 oz but in the evening he usually wants the full 6.

Sometimes we have to make more but generally it's just the 32 oz.

Michaela eats between 25 and 35oz per day. Sounds fairly normal then. I worry because she's only gaining very very steadily and they've commented on it a couple of times at clinic.

I can't believe some of you guys are having to feed 8-11x a day on formula. That's crazy!

Lets see, we've only been ff for about a week now and he takes an average of 20oz a day, and that's with my bf'n at least twice a day. His highest has been 26oz with 80z being the least. But on average, it's 20-24 oz so far. He can drink anywhere from 4-6 oz per feeding.

Emily takes about 16-18 oz at school (of which half is expressed milk and half is formula). She BF's 4-5 times between 5pm and 7am and also takes a 4 oz bottle of formula right before bed. So in total, I would guess she's getting 30-35 oz a day.

Probably around 40 oz in 7-8 feeds . . . roughly 5-6 oz per feed.

it really depends on the day but i would say average is like 24-32 oz most days when she wakes up she is so happy that she doesnt even want to eat. there has been days that she wont eat until four hours after she wakes up. but once she does eat she will eat almost 4-5 hours later, sometimes it can be sooner.
