I finished up this week. Thank goodness! I've got everything wrapped and under the tree. This is torturing the kids (and me!) LOL. I am not the best wrapper and after the 2nd present, things went south fast. I just wanted to finish.
Just 10 days to go, I hope you're all getting done!
I am not the best wrapper either. I did the wrapping today so we are pretty much done. I just have to buy a box of chocolates to bring to my Mum's and buy a GC to the movie theatre in my hometown for my bro.
Not even close. We just found out the in laws we were estranged from want to celebrate with us. That means more shopping. We did buy a lot for the kids but I'm still searching for a blue twilight turtle and some odd stuff Jessica asked for.
I've been done for a few weeks now. . . Everything that's getting wrapped has been wrapped & under the tree for a week & a half. Though we did just get $100 GC from my FIL to Wal*Mart - But I told DH that there's no way in H E double hockey sticks that I am going out there any time in the next 10 days. . . I'll see what the girls got from my parents & MIL and go sometime after Christmas and get them something from FIL & step-MIL with the GC then.
I have a couple of small things I want to do towards a little something for Shaun "from Michaela". I want to get him a couple of his favourite treats from town and a little picture frame, and print off a picture for it on photograph paper, as well as a few wallet prints. I also want to make a hand print and a foot print with paint to make the gift tag from. However, because he isn't working right now and is jobseeking mostly on the internet from home, it's hard to pick a time when I can guarantee he won't walk in on me doing it and spoil the surprise! Hopefully I can do it when he goes out to do his Christmas shopping!
I've done all my other present shopping and all the decorating. I'm doing cards today, I don't have many to do so it shouldn't be too bad, it will take me longer to find a couple of addresses I know I have stored on my computer SOMEWHERE. I also need to wrap but I'm using mostly gift bags so again it shouldn't be too bad. Not wrapping the kids' presents because Daniel has specifically asked for unwrapped gifts and Michaela's too little to care - they will just be packed into their stockings and large gift bags.
We also need to do our Christmas food shop - Christmas dinner and a few treats - which we'll do on Friday or Saturday as we want to get fresh veg.
My grandma and my dad are sending money for the kids. I am just going to give it to my girls to do after Christmas shopping. They enjoy having their own money to spend. Luke's money will go toward a high chair or convertible car seat.
I'm done! I bought EVERYTHING online this year. I usually do a combination of online/in-person, but I've also never had an infant. So cyber shopping all the way this year. I got really good deals and avoided the crowds. And I got done earlier than usual.

I was done before December started, with the exception of two cash gifts. I finished the last of the wrapping on the weekend but i wish there was more - if I were better at it, I'd be one of those gift wrappers for hire at the mall lol
