Well i had planned on doing my DITL on Monday but we were in such a rush taking Alan's father to the hospital Monday morning i completely forgot until 1:30pm so i decided to pick up my camera and start taking pics then and continue on until bedtime on Tuesday so we got a day and a half.
Alan dropped his father home so i decided to take Noah and Maggie moo for a walk
Here he is all bundled up in his pramsuit
Maggie running off ahead
The top of the hill - i wanted to get a pic of the view but for once it was too bright
40 mins later and i have a sleeping baby
Decided to leave him in his buggy whilst i got his play area sorted
Take the bottles out of the sterilizer....
...and fill with boiling water
Then the monkey woke up so we lifted him out and got him out of his suit
Time for mommy kisses
...and a nappy change
oops - i got distracted
Gave Noah his baby Sophie to chew on whilst i got a bottle ready
eeewwww baby sick
feed ya self i need to get cleaned up
Noah was having cuddles with daddy when i got back
Time to go visiting
This is cousin Holly - isnt she gorgeous! We stayed for 2 hours playing and drinking tea before coming home
Once home Noah went down on his playmat for some tummy time
Alan came to mess with him - its a bad pic but its so cute!
Alan and Maggie then decided to photobomb my pic!
"can you give him something to play with?" i didnt mean pile every toy on top of the baby!
...and a nappy change
...and the rest of his bottle
Noah then decided to eat my finger....
...and pooed himself!
There was quite a stash of nappies behind me by this point so i through them in the fire
I left Noah on the mat with his daddy minding him so i could get some bits done
Sorted out tomorrows outfit
dismayed at the mess in the kitchen - im not an alcoholic, its all from Christmas and new years
made a lovely chicken fillet and veg dinner - mmmm it was good
nice tidy kitchen - the kitchen was steamy from the dinner
Got back to find a sleeping baby in his PJ's
I popped him down on the rug to sleep for a little longer so i could go for a cigarette and Alan could
eat his dinner
not pictured was the chicken and veggie burger i made him
When the monkey woke up i got him into his sleeping bag
...and took him down to bed
not pictured was me feeding him as i didnt want to use the flash and wake him up
my sleeping baby - he woke once in the night, had a 4oz bottle and drifted off until 9:30am
Day 2 (JM logged me out half way through posting)
The day started by Alan bringing Noah into me to feed whilst he got breakfast sorted - not pictured was me feeding him in bed. Then the little monkey puked all over himself so i had to take him into the nursery to change him
where i found this...
Apparently Noah wet the bed (that was my fault for not changing him for his midnight feed) so Alan in his wisdom put the mattress by the radiator to "dry it off" mmmm there is a mattress protector on it for a reason!
not pictured is me taking off the mattress protector, putting the mattress back in the cot and putting a new sheet on it.
The next few pics are just of my gorgeous little man cooing away and smiling at me - hes just so chatty in the mornings
ok stop taking a million pics of the baby and get him dressed already!
look at the laundry pile and sigh
I carried Noah into the kitchen where i found Alan washing his bottles and putting them in the sterilizer
I pop him in his bouncy seat so i can make his breakfast
Banana porridge and milky
Noah loves his porridge
I went to get dressed after this and when i got back -
I gave the monkey the rest of his bottle
Then put water in his bottles for later
Alan was showing Noah something funny in the back garden
...the cat was eating off of the bird table - she broke the roof off so she could fit!
Time to pack up the changing bag for a day shopping
Noah in his car seat, all ready to go
...and in the car, not very happy
I was squished in the back between the two car seats as Alan was driving and my SIL is too pregnant to fit in the back
my smiley little man
Noah pooped when we were waiting for Eileen - Alan had to chang him on the front seat
Once back at Eileens house we admired our stash - i got loads of coats, jeans and tops for only 20euro! i love sales!
Time for ANOTHER nappy change
...and some tummy time
Holly had just woken from her nap and was delighted to see her cousin was still there
more mommy kisses
not pictured was another bottle
The little man fell asleep on me
Back into the car and off to auntie Peggy's where he needed a full change after an explosive nappy AND puke
good as new
Auntie Peggy snuggles
we stayed for about an hour before heading home again
Back on his playmat
Maggie was very happy we were home
i was just giving Noah his bottle when Maggie decided she wanted to play.....
She was tossing her teddy around trying to get me to play and SCRATCHED Noah's head! It was an accident and she looked sooo sorry, luckily my little man didnt even cry
Noah then got into his sleeping bag and played with his octopus for a bit
I gave him his bottle....
and let him drift off for half an hour
before taking him down for bed time - he woke when i put him down but drifted off no bother
Not pictured was me feeding him - again didnt want the flash to wake him
my lovely glass of wine while i wated for Alan to make my dinner
