Since I know a few of us are TTC once more, or already have been blessed with a BFP I was wondering if you tried or will try for a boy or a girl this time around, or even if you did last time?

If you DID try last time, did the methods your used work? Did it fail? If you did try and it failed, were you unhappy after getting your hopes up?

If you're going to try next time, what methods will you use?

I've decided I really want another boy, but not sure if I'll try anything other than TTC as normal. Last time everything I read on methods said I should have had a girl, even the Chinese calendar, and yet we have Elias

I have 3 girls and I wouldnt mind a boy But 4 girls would be quaint! I will do nothing to sway. I do, however want a fall or spring baby. So far mine are summer and winter. i would love a march or october baby or something like that. Im sure we will try for a certain season.

I am done.

We didn't really try for a specific gender when TTC, I was more concerned to just get pregnant given our ages so we DTD all over the fertile period. It was sheer luck that I got a girl when I already had a boy!

We won't try to gender sway. We'll be happy with a boy or a girl. Same thing with Jack. We were just trying to get pregnant and were happy with either sex.

We'll be happy with either and won't try to sway. We just were trying to get pregnant with Cameron so didn't try anything with him either. The app I use on my phone shows when its more likely to conceive a boy or girl apparently lol.

Eric wants a boy, but I doubt we'll really try to sway.

With Finn we dtd every day and through ovulation as well. I knew it was a boy and all I wanted was a baby.
Before I got pregnant David mentioned he would be happy with two. We DTD 3 days before and 1 day after O.
I will be happy with whatever gender.

We didn't sway the 1st time, and we won't this time. Eric wants another girl and I will be happy either way because I already have at least 1 girl now LOL.

Subconsciously I swayed for DD, and it worked. With DS I sorta figured he would be a boy before we know. The days until ovulation thing worked both times for us.

We didn't sway last time but after I got PG I found out that the Chinese calendar, position we used, etc. all leaned towards girl. I always really wanted a girl so I'm glad the pressure's off. Now that we have Emily, I think we might sway a little bit for a boy (more for DH than me) but if we get another girl, I won't be disappointed.

The Chinese calendar says we will have a boy if we try in January-March of next year and that's when were already planning on TTC so hopefully it works out.

We just wanted a baby but I had a feeling Micah would be a boy since we dtd the day I ovulated (but really it was everyday before hand too lol.) We will do the shuttles method and hope for a girl the next round

Also just since a lot of people have mentioned the chinese calendar, according to that Micah should have been a girl.

I subconsciously wished for a boy and it worked.
I would like a girl but I won't do anything to sway. I just want another baby

We did the day of ovulation with both kids, and I still got a boy and a girl, so I don't put much stock in swaying methods.

We didn't try for a gender as we weren't even trying for a baby. I really really wanted a boy though and when I found out it was a boy I was very excited. No I'm worried I'll only have boys - I know its silly. I've been thinking forward to the future and wondering about swaying for a girl, but honestly, I'm not sure it matters, I don't know how much any of these methods actually work and I'm worried that I'd try really hard and be disappointed.

We started out trying to sway for a boy but it really stressed me out and I gave up after the first few months. It took us 15 months to get a BFP with Sarah so I feel like she is what we were meant to have. If I were able to get knocked up easily I would totally sway for a boy but....

We have never tried to sway and won't in the future. We chart, so its fun to look back in hindsight and wonder. My girl was indeed a five day old spermie. But I have a boy that was also...

I actually thought the same way when I was pregnant with Athena because Eric had all those boys before we got together, so in the back of my mind I didn't want to get my hopes up for a girl, but he finally made a girl. LOL. Not saying it would take you that long, but I don't believe people can only make 1 gender.
