So I'm starting to get swim suit catalogs in the mail.... I guess it's close to that time.....
All of my two piece swim suits are going to have to be retired... Not with my belly stretch marks all over the place!
I'm not so much of a one piece type of person... maybe because I can't really find a style that makes me not look like a granny....
Then i saw this bathing suit in Victoria Secret's catalog that was a two piece but is connected in front with the sides exposed... would def cover up my road map of a belly... Cute but in my mind that just looks much more skimpy even though it is more covered....
Then tankinis..... oh the tankini's.... i think that I may have to try them..

This is the first summer in my whole life I wont be wearing a bikini I even wore one last summer! I dont have stretch marks but after 3 kids my belly button looks weird and I havent lost all the weight I need to. I found a really cute one piece at jcrew and theres also one I likes at vs but Im thinking to go with the jcrew one.

I have never had a flat stomach so I have never worn a bikini. There are lots of nice one-piece ones. The ones made for actual swimming are the best quality in my opinion. And I second J. Crew having nice suits.

I can't get into my bikinis because my bb's are still massive but if my stretch marks fade enough and I go back down in cup size, I'll rock them. I did buy a tankini though...but its getting to be too big!

Good luck finding some you like

It's funny I've actually been thinking about this lately and I don't even like the beach. I've had the same bikini since right after Harper was born but I've lost so much weight that it's going to be too big. I don't have any stretchmarks and my stomach is pretty flat for having three kids but I'm no longer comfortable with showing my body because i'm out of shape so I've been eyeballing vintage one piece swimsuits for this summer.

In this country I would wear a swimsuit rather than a bikini on the rare occasion when I swim, as it's too darn cold! However, if we were going abroad I wouldn't care, I'd just wear a bikini, c-section scar and all.

I haven't worn a bikini since I was a young teen, it's always been tankinis for me.

I kissed my bikinis goodbye after I had my second kid. I had stretch marks after my first, but I was still skinny, so I didn't care. But then I got stretch marks and fat, so I decided it was time for tankinis and one pieces.

yea i shopped one morning online for one piece suits...most depressing moment of my life. i said F*** it. i put the computer down and hit the gym again. i have been training hard and i am starting to morph a little bit. i am determined come h**l or high water i am wearing my bikini and i will look good dang it. i have always been in shape and it may be shallow or whatever but i feel a whole lot more confident when i am in shape and comfortable. i mean i have never been particularly confident but i was a whole lot better than i am now.
so i have been doing ab workouts every other day and training like a mad woman as much as i can.
i am determined to get back to my little cuteness...
i want to buy a brand new bikini and wear it confidently...
if that makes me shallow than so be it.
im not even ashamed of my stretch marks. they dont bother me. i just hate the extra skin i still have. i lost so much weight so fast that my belly looks like a deflated balloon.

I hear yeah on "deflated balloon".... I would not have said it any other way..... I just hope that the workouts shrink the excess skin... It's so hard to believe...

I'm not sure what I'm going to wear. I was such a whale last summer at the pool that I'd like to feel at least a tiny bit normal looking this year. I'm happy with my size but am pretty squishy. My stretch marks don't bother me any.

I'm not sure if I will be wearing Sarah at the pool or not yet and that ergo waist strap isn't real attractive on a bare belly.
