Is anyone celebrating, going to a parade, etc?

St Patrick's Day was my dad's birthday so we went out for a family Sunday lunch and walk. Brought back ice cream for later. Having a lovely day.

Happy St. Patrick's day! It is DH's birthday and my brother's birthday. We had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast (no chocolate chips for me since I don't like them), and my FIL is coming by in a bit, and off to my parents for dinner. Cam is in a green Pink Floyd onsie

Happy St. Patrick's day! We've worked on a mini-unit on St. Patrick's day all week, and today we had shamrock egg in toast (I cut out the shamrock shape in the toast and fried the egg inside it), and we're doing green milk and green dessert after supper I also printed out a St. Patrick's day graphing game for the kids to play

Happy St. Patricks, we don't celebrate here. Like never really even heard of it until I joined online forums

We didn't do much this year, as we have I the past. We have family in town right now. Normally we have a lesson on the saint, and we did still remind them of his life story. So much folklore on him out there, but the true story is pretty incredible!

I only knew about it cos it was my dad's birthday...I think it's celebrated more in the US than anywhere. Glad to hear nice days were had!
