I know a couple of you have had some tumbles off the bed recently so I thought I'd make you all feel better because I actually DROPPED Oz. It wasn't that far. I was sitting on the couch and he was laying in my nap after nursing and I was only loosely holding him and he kinda rolled as I started to get up and off he went.
I sort of caught him. I grabbed his arm and his landing was pretty soft but his head thunked the ground and he did cry a bit.
Glad he's okay. Noah dropped Elise a couple weeks ago. It was similar- he was loosely holding her, while she was standing on the floor, and she kinda of pulled away from him. So not really a drop, but she fell. She was also fine.
It happens to the best of us! My oldest fell off our bed when she was around 7 months. I have fallen with Adalyn in my arms & she hit her head. She's toppled over when sitting up & hit her head on the tile often... Babies hold up much better then we do
