Where does your LO nap? Do they sleep on your bed or in their own space for naps? Connor sleeps only with me (and I do mean only). He won't even try sleeping in his crib, even for naps. He'll fall asleep lying beside me after he nurses but the only place I can do that where we don't get disturbed by tons of noises is in bed. I won't leave him alone there, especially now that he's rolling all over. But that means I'm stuck upstairs quite a bit in the afternoon and nothing gets done.
Cam naps in his swing. For the longest time he would only nap on me, and yup, got nothing done. It took about a week, but now he naps in his swing. Once we've got more solid night-time sleep, I'm going to try and transition him to his crib for naps as well. I was starting to get scared of the rolling and lunging he was doing so I'm glad he's in his crib now, since even when he co-slept, he spent about 4 hours alone in our bed before we went to bed.
Pippa will only nap while nursing, and she usually wakes up as soon as she unlatches. On the rare occasion that she doesn't wake up when she unlatches, I am still stuck beside her. It's like she has some internal radar that knows I am trying to sneak away. She rolls onto her side and starts slapping the bed looking for me, even in her sleep. She will only nurse in my bed, and she will only sleep in my bed at night. This means I spend most of my time at home on my bed with her. This weekend from Friday to Sunday, she nursed 60 times.
Hm. We don't have a swing unfortunately. He has a rocker that he loves but won't sleep in either. He keeps rocking as hard as he can and giggles up a storm. So cute! Not effective against my sleep issue though.
I even go to bed with Connor so he won't be alone in the bed! So either we curl up on the couch while I read or watch tv and he sleeps or we go up to bed early (if he won't sleep on the couch) and I read in bed while he sleeps.
I truly love all this snuggle time, don't get me wrong. But it would be nice if he'd just sleep or at least rest for a short time in his crib.

It's the same with me. Connor will nurse on the couch with me but he isn't happy unless he's side-lying and snuggled up. I love it, I just can't stay in bed with him while he's sleeping all the time because my daughter needs me too. So I'm jumping in and out of bed while he naps so I can run over to the play room and play with DD for a few minutes, always running back to check on Connor to make sure he hasn't moved.
I either nurse him comatose and lay him in his crib (works less than half of the time) or lay him in bed with pillows around him and the baby monitor on (also works less than half of the time). He would rather sleep on me though and that's where baby wearing comes in handy.
