I'm about to do some googling and all, but I figured I'd ask you ladies.

Wednesday night, we're getting on the road to FL. It's a 10-12 hour trip. My question is, will Taryn be able to sleep her normal full night, in the car... or will it be an issue? Probably depends on her, huh?
Should I maybe put her in her carseat after she falls asleep and then leave?

Any tips at all would be awesome.

Nah, I'm SE from you, I'm going through GA.

Random thought:
I hadn't thought about where Taryn is sleeping... hmmmm.... I don't have a PnP... guess I'll be co-sleeping for a few days.

If she usally sleeps well in the car it will probably be fine, though I did find when we drove at night during our trip to Florida that when we stopped for gas Oz would wake up and I'd usually have to nurse him.

Ditto, mine wake up when we stop but the motion keeps them sleeping. If she will fall asleep in the car, I'd leave as soon as she gets drowsy.

If she normally sleeps in the car, you shouldn't have too much of an issue. I'd bring some random toys to keep her occupied in her carseat though during the day.

Have a safe trip. Hope you're doing as well as you can be right now.

Hadn't thought of stopping. Maybe we could take turns going in, to eliminate having to move her.

Thanks ladies!

I have never driven over night but I often have to drive 2 hours for work and I take Micah. I have learned that if I feed him and leave right at his nap time he will not only nap but usually for longer. If I do stop for any length of time, ie gas, he will surely wake up though. Hope that helps!
