Okay Cetch has just started to sleep on his tummy. He has always slept on his back but the last 3 nights he has decided he wants to snooze on his tummy. 2 or the 3 nights he has woke up with a wet front.

So, what disposiable diapers are other boy, tummy sleepers using that keep them dry all night?

Thanks

I used to use the huggie overnights (one size bigger) with Nathan. They come in size 4 or 5.

Hmmmm, I guess I never really thought of it as a tummy sleeping thing, but that does make sense. We have had some leaks, but I realized it was because there was too much diaper above where we placed the tabs, and the top part was rolling down, exposing the absorbent side of the diaper. Could that be part of it? Is he wet at the top by his belly button or more down at his legs? Only thing I know of if that's not it, is an overnight diaper..? Never used them myself though. Maybe bump his normal diaper up a size at night?

We use Pampers Baby Dry. I don't change his diaper overnight if I can help it, and he usually goes about 5:30pm-6:30am (ish) in the one diaper. We've had one leak, but it wasn't just a leak, I had to wash his sheet, etc...no matter what he was wearing he would have leaked through that night! In the past week, one night he had some dampness on his legs, but he went from 5pm-7:30am in one diaper so I think that was the issue, not the diaper itself. He also still wakes up all the time and nurses several times overnight, so he pees just as much as during the day!

I knew what this was going to be about just by the title. Haha! Been there, done that. Make sure he's in the right size diaper and that his little pee-pee is pointed down and not up. We used Pampers with Dominic and he never leaked.

MIcah is a tummy sleeper... I can put him on his back all I want and he will roll right onto his tummy! I use huggies overnights and have never once had a leak!

Finn is a tummy sleeper as well. We use Pampers Cruisers.
They are absolutely fantastic!

I use the Pampers 12 hour ones and we never usually have a problem and he always wears it for 12 hours. He is in size 4s but is only 20 lbs, make sure he is in a good size because if they are getting too snug then they will leak more.

The only time we've had this problem is when DH put on his diaper. I found that he was not securing it well enough or pointing the peepee down. No problems at all when I put a diaper on him. We use Pampers.

I had this problem with Eli. We started using Pampers Swaddlers 1 size bigger at night and that has helped a lot. Also make sure you pull it snug around his hips to help with overflow

Thanks everyone!

He is waking up not just a little damp but SOAKEN!! He is wet from this arm pits to his toes!

I have used both pampers and huggies (regular day ones, size 3). I like papmers better but I had a package of huggies left from a shower present. He stays dry during the day.

I do make sure he is pointed "down".

I'm going to try to combine 2 of the suggestions! I bought diapers in a size bigger (size 4) and I got the overnight ones. Hope this works because there were 80 diapers in that box!

I went up a size and use Huggies Overnights. I personally feel like Pampers aren't as absorbent as Huggies overall.

Hey Sheri, make sure it's tight enough, or one piece jammies, so he can't get his hands down there and play (he'll end up with his peepee pointed up). Yeah, definitely from a btdt standpoint.

It worked!

I used a size larger (size 4) and the over night diapers and he was dry all night!

Thanks for all the suggestions!
