Do you have a will? Who did you lost as guardians for your child/children if you die?

I don't have a will yet. Definitely something that has to be done!
Guardians will be Finn's godparents. My sister, brother and BIL.

We still need to do this. I hate that its not done yet.

Guardians will be my parents. In the future it may be updated to my sister if for any reason my parents become unsuitable (they're both cancer survivors among other things).

We have an estate plan and a guardianship plan. The kids would go to my husband's sister and the money would go to his uncle as Trustee, so that he would disburse as he sees fit for them as they grow up. This is of course if something were to happen to us both at the same time.

We don't have one yet but I talked with DH about this just this weekend and told him we need to get it done. Both of us are only children, so if we both passed away, he'd go to his grandparents, but we don't know if it would be his side or mine yet. maybe shared? So much to think about.

No will here, but I probably should do one...

Yes I've got one though really I need to update it to include Michaela.

In the first instance if something happened to me each child would live with their dad. I wouldn't really want them split up, but I don't see how I can prevent that and hopefully they would still get together to do things with their nan, plus Chris and Shaun get on well and I'm sure they would make sure Daniel and Michaela did stuff together. After that it would be up to them what happened next.

Yes, we do. And their guardians will be good friends of ours. I did just recently start second-guessing our decision tho'.
Do you think it would be better to keep them in family? But then how do you pick which ones??

I don't have a will, but I do have a guardianship order. As of now, if something happens to DH and I, the kids go to my parents.

No will, though we should have one. We asked my cousin to be the children's guardian if something should happen to us. I need to get it in writing though, because I have a feeling my crazy mother would fight it.
