Anyone's LOs doing any of these yet?

I need to start pointing at objects...it slipped my mind that I should be doing this (I've never been much of a pointer myself).

No worries if your LO isn't doing any of these yet...it's not concerning until 12mo!

Kata started waving around 3 months, clapping a couple months later and just started pointing on a regular basis. I realized when I saw another baby clap that I never clapped around Kata. So I started clapping all the time and she started a week later. I should point out that I point and wave constantly. Babies will usually do what you do often, monkey see monkey do!!! Shes a mad bongo player too....because she sees us do it all the time...I believe that fits in with it all. I don't think it has much to do with skill...just if they see you do it often!

She points and waves, but she hasn't clapped yet. I walked in the other day, and the sitter was playing pat-a-cake with her, but she has yet to clap on her own.

It's so sweet when they start to interact and show their personalities more. This is really such an amazing stage.

Waving sporadically but no pointing or clapping. Harper was a late pointer too so I don't expect it any time soon. He can play the "Give me five, up high, down low, too slow" game though.

He waves, but he's not pointing or clapping. I never point or clap around him and should really start doing it. Shortly after I started waving bye-bye consistently, he started waving too. So I should be better about pointing and clapping as well.

She claps and hilariously, misses her hands half the time.

She waves, to herself (backwards).

Clearly she has inherited my clumsiness!

Summer knows how to do all three. But it's very rare that she does them on her own. It's always a monkey see monkey do thing. She will randomly point though.

When she claps she will smack her hands together twice before just interlocking them together. It's so cute!

Cetch won't do any of these.

He will do patty cake with his feet (weird, I know)

He won't hold his bottle either. He can, he just won't. I think his big sister and I baby him too much!

I never point or wave or clap so I haven't taught those. Whoopsie. I did read someone talking about their baby clapping and waving and I was like oops. So I made a point to wave to Xavier today when I left him at daycare. Will try to remember to point and clap.

Oz started waving at 8 months, he's getting more consistent but its still very sporadic. No clapping and no pointing, but I'm not surprised. I don't think he really has a need to point since he's so expertly mobile he just goes and gets whatever he wants anyway.

Adalyn is just picking up waving. We have been working on clapping for about a month now as I believe it goes hand in hand with being able to sign "more". I don't point much so I'm not going to worry about it, she'll eventually get it. I never made a huge point/deal in doing these with my first. She eventually picked it all up just fine from watching everyone at home & out and about.

Mel has just started waving goodbye if she hears the words "bye bye" and will clap if someone else does or if someone starts singing or she hears music. She doesn't point yet though.
