It's going to rain all weekend, so nothing outdoors. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair colored a bit darker (Im anxious about it) because it's been too much upkeep. I'll be blonde still, but more likely a dark blonde with brown lowlights
We need to do some shopping for summer clothes (even though we are having a freakishly cold few days). I really want to see a movie with the kids, but I only get a 2-3 hour window between the times I nurse Pippa, which makes it hard to schedule anything at all. We only get to shop because we live a mile from the mall. She has refused for the most part to nurse in public since Christmas. That means whenever she gets hungry or just wants a nap, we have to go home to her favorite bed and blanket. She will only nurse in her favorite spot, and she will only nap if I am touching her. I don't mind- it just makes scheduling anything at all really hard.
I bought DH movie tickets to a historic theater in LA for tonight. They're showing Escape from New York, and Kurt Russell will be there in person for a Q&A after the show. He is going with a friend, while I stay home with Jack.
Tomorrow is our seven-year anniversary. In the morning, we are either going to have breakfast with friends (confirming that today) or we're going to a "Farm Day" activity at the college where I work. Jack loved the goats so much at the little zoo where SIL took him that I think he'd really enjoy seeing other farm animals here. In the evening, SIL is babysitting so DH and I can go out to dinner at our favorite restaurant.
Sunday will probably just be laundry, housework, finishing organizing our garage, etc.
Tomorrow morning we are going to clean the house and I am going to buy a new car. Then tomorrow afternoon, we are having friends over. Sunday I am helping my niece with her wedding planning. Sunday night will probably do my weekend work to get caught up at work for the week. Whatever it is you can count on me being in yoga pants and drinking a few glasses of wine. I'm OVER this week!!
Me (34), Hubby (42), DS (2 years) - and baby DD (born on 7.24)!
