Sorry for being MIA lately. I have been sick since the day before Mother's Day: terrible congestion that caused my teeth to hurt, ear pain, and a wicked sore throat. It was depressing and frightening because I managed not to get sick all winter even though my entire family had everything possible. I didn't want to take any OTC meds or visit a doctor for antibiotics because I was afraid of losing part of my milk supply. Also, I never get a moment of down time so feeling miserable is not a good thing. I have been taking coconut oil and elderberry syrup, and I am so much better. (Thank you Jesus for the holistic approach.)
Pippa learned to crawl right before Mother's Day. She also learned how to pull herself to standing and how to cruise the furniture. It makes getting ready for work almost impossible. I put her in her crib, which she has never slept or napped in, and she is too tall. We need to let the mattress down. She's also talking and laughing a whole lot more. She shakes her head yes and no. She's such a joy!
