I have no idea what to get Harper for her birthday... Have you decided what you're getting your LO?

I have NO clue! If we're still in PA, it likely won't be much of anything since I can't really get anything large back home without paying what it costed to ship it back. Thankfully, she won't remember mommy not spoiling her for her first birthday and I know she's going to be ROTTEN when daddy gets home in October.

Babies are sooooooooooo easy to buy for and half the time they prefer the wrapping to the toy. I should just wrap up wrapping paper and ribbon. But seriously they don't have preferences, they aren't picky, it's great. You can go to any toy section and you know anything you pick out they'll love. No stress at all. So different from my birthday experiences with the older two. Shopping for Dominic would bring even the savviest shopper to her knees.

we don't do much because the grandmamas go nuts. she will probably get a chair with her name on it like my son did, and 1 big toy (he got a piano, she might get a kitchen for her bedroom or a nice first doll or something)

I'm thinking something "big" for the playroom, like a picnic table, or kitchen or workbench (like the playskool / step2 ones).

No idea yet though...need to really start thinking about it

I have no idea, with all the hand me downs from the older ones, there's few toys we don't have!

I have a friend that makes Waldorf dolls. I think I may custom order one. Pippa LOVES stuffed things, and she loves hair.

We have the same issue. She doesn't need any toys or anything because we have hand me downs from my DS and then I have a friend who gives us her toys once they are outgrown too. I do want to get her something special though.

Too funny! What are the chances of that?!

Wow, those are much cheaper than the ones my friend makes.

We had the same problem too until Bobby went through and tossed 3/4 of the toys. Threwaway the broken stuff, the things with missing parts and donated the still good stuff that they didn't play with. We still have right many toys but now we have room for more. *rubs hands together*
