I'm heading to the store soon, and my brain is just empty. It doesn't help that my five year old just "wrote" me a note that she told me says, "If you don't feel good, Mommy, you shouldn't cook. We can just have pizza."

Hamburgers for us tonight. Nothing special, just Bubba burgers on buns with the traditional burger toppings. I made some onion dip to eat our chips with...that's about as fancy as it's getting.

Well I was thinking Crunchy Taco Hamburger Helper but my son was just watching Food Network with me and Giada was cooking. She was making cinnamon waffles w/ panchetta in the batter & he now wants that LOL.

leftover chili over egg noodles with cornbread muffins.
I wish I was having chips and pickles. I was going to get pickles last night, but DH wanted to buy something for the yard and right now every penny counts, so I ended up not getting the pickles, or the 50% off cadbury eggs I wanted.
but everyone else got something they wanted.... sigh....

Every Friday that DH has to travel for work, our dinner gets to go on the company card. Since he will be driving 4 hours and won't get home until 10 or so tonight, though, we will probably just put it towards a pizza hut delivery. My allergies have gotten the best of me today and I'm ready to crawl into a cave and sleep for the rest of the weekend!

We have a big fat leftover pot of ham and beans which I know sounds gross, but really it's pretty good. I have to cook huge portions anyhow so lately we've tried to make enough dinner to have leftovers the second night. It cuts my cooking in half and that helps out a ton. Sometime we repurpose the first night's food so it's not exactly the same. Such as we might have a ham for dinner one night with mashed potatoes and salad and then cut up the leftover ham for ham and beans the next night...

Angela, ham and beans is a huge hit in our house! I pair that with cornbread and the kids mix it all together with ketchup That sounds sooo good right now. And we still have plenty of leftover ham too, lol! I think that will be tomorrow's dinner!

I have been craving this meal ALL week! DH refuses to eat meatloaf and I refuse to cook two dinners so I fully intend on cooking this when he is gone again in two weeks!

I just bought a salad from saladworks because I didn't eat well today so I wante dto make sure I got a good helping of veggies, dairy and protein It wasn't as good as I was hoping would be though. My DH took Bella to his parents beach house so I can rest and study for my upcoming boards exam. I feel so LOST without them here, whch I never thought I would haha!
