Did anyone not get stretch marks in their first pregnancy but end up getting them in other pregnancies? If so, when did they show up?

I'm just curious. I didn't get any on my belly in my first pregnancy, I got a few very tiny ones on my thighs but they don't look like normal stretch marks, they are just really thin, tiny, and clear looking, DH didn't even notice I had them until I pointed them out.

I know they say they are genetic mostly, but the only person on either side of my family who got them was my mom, and I think its because she put on so much weight in each of her pregnancies and my brothers were seriously HUGE! The youngest was close to 11lbs.

I didn't get any on my stomach with DS. I got a few VERY tiny ones on my hip but not dark or noticable. I'm really hoping i get lucky again this time!! I'm also interested in knowing whether anyone didn't get them with their first but did with following pregnancies.

I got them on my belly but not a ton and then after I had him they were not to bad... I have some new ones this time but I am hoping that once again after I give birth they will not be that bad.

I think you'll be fine Danielle! I've made it through 3 pregnancies without a single stretch mark (thank you Mom and Grandma for those genes!!!). Hoping for the same with the 4th!

I am pretty sure I heard that if you didn't get them in previous pregnancies then you won't get them, unless you get ginormous. I didn't get any on my belly with any of the girls but I do have them on my boobs *sigh*. So far this pregnancy I haven't got any on my belly.

I plus-size so I already have some stretch marks across my hips, and am kind of expecting those to get bigger as I get bigger...

What's weird is I've recently develped some pretty big stretch marks on the inside of my left thigh, and it looks like they are starting on my right thigh now too... But legs don't seem like they're getting any bigger? I'm actually down 14 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight...

I got stretch marks on my inner thighs when I was a teenager, so I have them there, and got some on my boobs with my first pregnancy. But no new ones with my second, none with either on my stomach, so Im praying no new ones come up this time at all. That would be very nice!

I had some in my first pregnancy(which you can hardly see now after almost 15 years). I haven't gotten any since. I thought for sure I would with the twins because I have a short torso, but I used a lot of lotion and ended up with none.

I didn't get any anywhere except my butt with Brynlee. Like, my butt looks like it was mauled by a tiger, and I only gained 28lbs. I'm hoping not to get anymore this time around either!! At least no one sees my bum other than DH and he says he doesn't even notice them anymore.
