Anyone else having trouble getting to sleep at night? The past two nights I have been up really late. It isn't because I am uncomfortable. I just can't get my mind to shut off. I feel exhausted, but I just can't get to sleep. I am going to ask my midwife next week about me taking tylenol pm. I am not sure if I can take it with the other meds I am on. Any other suggestions? This sucks because I am getting even more cranky than normal.

I pull up guided sleep meditations on my phone from you tube. I did them for a few weeks straight and have finally gotten to the point where as long as I have on a relaxing sound and turn off all the lights I can get myself to sleep very easily now... I HIGHLY suggest trying this before you try tylenol PM. I have found that it not only benefits me for sleeping, but just in general when I need to calm down or relax, I use the techniques I've learned from the guided tracks.

I had this problem last night. Turning on the TV helps for me.

I'm so sorry!!! I have nights like that, pregnant or not, that I just can't stop the wheels from turning in my head and fall asleep. You will definitely want to check with your dr because of the other meds you're on, but, if nothing else works (relaxation techniques, etc) my MW said taking a tylenol PM to get a good's night rest every now and then is perfectly ok, as is Benadryl if it tends to make you sleepy. I hope you find some solutions soon! My main issue the past couple of nights has been waking up randomly every 30 minutes to an hour starting about 1am until I have to get up at 5am, and I am soooo tired as a result.

I am just having problems with getting comfortable. Every once in a while, I have problems falling asleep from my mind racing, but lately, my belly is getting so heavy that I can't get comfortable. Right now, I'm only sleeping on my left side. It's weird, but on my right side, my baby lays weird and when I'm on my back, he moves everywhere. Only 2 more months....
