I got hit from behind on the freeway today I was coming home from picking up my son at my parents when it happened. They ended up transporting me to the trauma center to get checked out and were very worried about the baby. Turns out both me and the baby are fine I have to stay in l &d for at least 24 hours for monitoring to make sure there's no other issue. I know I'm going to be super sore tomorrow.
My 2 year old son was with me too. He's fine thanks to being properly restrained. So, if you're not already up on car seat safety and proper restraints, you should start learning now! You really never know and it could save your kids life. Ok, off my soap box now

Wow! I'm glad to hear all looks fine now. I bet you were a bit scared. I hope the soreness doesn't last long. And yes. Definitely for anyone with kids they should have up to date and proper seat restraints.

Karen I am so relieved you and Connor are ok. Hopefully you dont end up too sore. How bad is the damage to your car!? What was the other drivers excuse for hitting you!? Hugs.
I am so glad you, Connor, and Owen are okay! Car accidents are a huge fear that I have. I agree that every parent needs to make sure that their children are properly restrained while in a vehicle. It can certainly save their life. I hope you aren't sore for too long.
Well, I'm still here. My BP has been up so they want to monitor me for another night. So far baby has looked great so I'm not too worried. But I think they are just being cautious. Miss my DS though and can't wait to give him a big hug.

I'm home! They finally released me today so now I am home resting. My BP was still up and down at one point getting as high as 190 and then down to 108. So, I'm thinking modified bed rest may be in my future.....
But everything else looks great and I got to see the baby a bunch of times while they checked on everything.
