Has completely taken over my life I have been on summer break now for about 2 weeks. I honestly think I have done more cleaning in these 2 weeks, then I have done in the year that we have been in this house. I feel like a crazy person, but I can't stop until I have finished what I set out to do.

I have a feeling it will be getting much worse when my sister moves out next week, her room will be the nursery. Plus, I have my baby shower on Saturday.. I hope this phase can hold out a little longer.


Anyone else feeling like this?

I wish I could find the energy to get what I need to done. I am very much lacking in that area.

no! please send some my way - my house needs a good deep cleaning, and I just look at the dirt and say "oh well"

I feel that way I picked up the last couple things we needed for the baby today and once I get the organizer or shelf I want, he will be all set So then I can focus on the house and not feel so out of sorts. I am loving nesting.

That's great!! I am starting to have that feeling but mostly toward get the organizing done, not so much the cleaning. I'm hoping i'll get more motivated soon!

Yes! We just moved to a new house and so I've been crazy making sure it stays as clean as we found it. I am finding that I love how it feels when everything is very clean and smells good. Our old house tended to get messy and cluttered sometimes and I would often feel like I couldn't stay on top of it....I am really making sure to stay on top of everything here. So I've had lots of energy to keep cleaning, organizing and cooking better meals. So far, I'm loving it, and I am hoping the energy and motivation keeps up....
