It's for the baby and we don't need anything. We literally have everything we need for him. My mom suggested diapers and wipes, but we have cases and boxes of both in sizes newborn to 2, and I'm not interested in buying bigger until we use some of these because of lack of space.

I have no clue what to buy, but it needs to be for him so I can send pictures to the gift giver.

Yep, we got most of that at our shower. I picked up the last few things on our list last week and the week before because I needed to be *done*. LOL I have three boppy covers. The only thing I can think of is maybe a crib sheet? But we aren't using a crib for at least 6 months...so I would just be hanging onto it. We have one already.

I would just hold onto the gift card. We had gift cards coming out of our ears after Keira was born and we just saved them and used them as we needed new things or as she outgrew things. In my thank-you cards I just told the giver what I planned to do with the gift card, the same goes for when I receive money as a gift.

Hmmm!!! Let's see.....do you plan to use bottles at all? If so how about a baby bottle sterilizer? Or maybe a bottle drying rack? Do you have plenty of baby blankets? I have sort of been collecting them lately, lol! Maybe one of those lovey blankets that have a stuffed animal attached? Do you have plenty of baby bath supplies (shampoo/baby wash/baby lotion)? There must be something!!!

I wanna be in your position and have absolutely everything and not be able to think of anything to buy!!! LOL!

I don't have nursing tanks! Do you think that'd be appropriate to buy? lol I only ask because the giver specifically said "buy something for Logan and send me a pic!"

Michelle my gosh we have so much for him now. We plan to nurse, but I have a pump and bottles for later on. My dad bought us the drying rack for our shower and we don't bother with the sterilizer (once you touch it, it's no longer sterile, and we can always boil them lol). We got TWO of those lovey things. We're keeping both - one for back up I got three of those sets of baby lotion/shampoo etc. The ones that come in the plastic baskets. I know we'll use those for sure so we kept all of them.

But nursing tanks or a bra would be helpful.

In your thank you, tell them what you need to do with it. if you need nursing tanks, then that is what you need. That is how you plan on feeding him, seems appropriate to me

You could always treat yourself . Does the gift certificate have an expiration date on it? You can always save it until you need something.

Do you have these??? These are seriously the world's most awesome blankets. Even if you have gobs of blankets, these will be your favorite and Target is the cheapest place to get them:

If you need nursing tanks then you should get those! Of course sending a pic probably won't be necessary but i think you should spend it on whatever you need. I would think anyone would understand that! If they wanted to get you something specific then they wouldn't have given you a gift card I wish i had that problem!! I still have a lot i could stand to buy!

Would they know if you took a picture of something you bought last week or the week before? Then you could use it on the nursing tanks and not feel weird about it. I mean you did just buy the stuff. I think people like to see cute baby stuff as their gift or even baby necessities.

I could do that, take a picture of some of the stuff we just bought. Has anyone used nursing bras/tanks from Target?

I'm sure if the gift giver knew that nursing tanks were what made the most sense to you and would be the most useful, they would approve 100 percent! It will, afterall, ultimately benefit baby as well!

If you still really want to spend it for something JUST for baby but don't need anything then maybe buy something for baby later down the line- a potty seat, some puzzles, books, or toddler toys???
