I'm only 33 weeks, so I'm nervous. I'm in L&D now. Please pray my little girl will stay put a little while longer. She has a strong heart beat and I'm not having contractions yet, just some uterine irritability. My blood pressure doesn't look so good though, 89/62. I'll update when I can.
Update #1
I started having contractions and my little one's heart rate dropped so now I'm confined to my left side and we're still hoping I can last long enough for the steroids to work. I'm contracting irregularly, but 4+ times an hr every hour, so it's hard to know what's next. I'm 12+ hrs out from my water breaking though and no fever, steroids went in more than 10 hrs ago so I'm hopeful

Oh my!!! Thoughts going your way!! My sister in law kept her little guy for two or three weeks after her water broke at 31. So it is possible! I know it must be scary, but at least you are far enough along to know there more than likely won't be any major issues. Please keep us updated on how things go. Stay in there baby!!
Praying right now!!! Please updated when you can. Like the others said, 33-weekers will spend some time in the NICU, but will most likely have a wonderful outcome. Don't stress too much, momma!!!! Hope they are able to keep him a couple more weeks, but you and baby should be fine either way. (((hugs))) and prayers!

Keeping you in my thoughts. My ds was born at just before 33 weeks because my water broke. He spent 2 weeks in the nicu, and has not had any serious long term issues. The only things that he has is sensitive skin, and he is more prone to getting colds. He is a very normal 2 year old though, and I hope that your baby does even better! I am sorry that you are having to go through this. *hugs*
Sending thoughts and prayers your way mama I know it will be hard but you have to stay positive and relaxed it will help you and your baby stress is no good!! At thirty three weeks and a baby girl (faster to develop than boys) the prognosis is GREAT!! Hopefully she will bake a little longer!!
Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way that they can keep your little one in a little while longer. But if she does come, take comfort in knowing she will be just fine. KUP when you can mama!
