I had a friend tell me she was sending some lansinoh, and my mom tell me she was sending some stuff, but I am just about done waiting.
I need to get the lansinoh, baby wash, baby oil, and some sort of butt stuff and gas drops. nothing big, but I keep putting it off. I returned some onesies that I didn't need today and completely spaced that I had a gift card or I would have gotten that stuff today. but the good news is, I have all the stuff I need for the boys birthday next week!
**FF Chart**My Blog- Jaded Point of View**
Missing Our Angel gone too soon 6/5/10 Adam Michael 9/22/06 (c-section)~Nathan Joseph 9/4/08 (VBAC)~Lincoln Thomas 9/5/12 (VBAC)
- Milk storage bags for later when I start pumping
- nursing bras? (debating still)
- I would like to have a few more sleepers in the zero to three month sizes but if I don't go out and do that it will not be the end of the world
But seriously, until we get moved, I'm not setting up a nursery. I will eventually need to get another crib, but the bassinet is fine for now.
I am feeling pretty prepared. I need to pick up some Mylicon drops to have on hand, and may like another nursing bra. But I have all the crucial things ready to go!
Well my shower is this next weekend, and all I asked for was "the little stuff that you run out of over and over - ex. bathing supplies, nursing supplies, diaper supplies, and medicines" . I'm hoping I get a little of all of it, but if not I'll just pick up the few items I don't still have. Right now I have no meds, gas drops, gripe water. I need some baby shampoo/bathwash. And that's just about it. I've tried to buy at least 1 of everything I would need and I can backstock the extra that I get at my shower
All I need is to finish making her coming home outfit. I'm just really not in the mood though. I'm seriously thinking about just having dh buy her an outfit.
I like your list format so I'm borrowing it
-------------------------------------------------------- My list is:
Bath Time
-get out the bathtub and scrub it from being in storage
First Aid
-Mylicon drops
-Infant Tylenol
Breastfeeding
-new membranes for my pump
-wash and sterilize bottles for pumping
-sterilize pump parts (already washed)
-set up a pumping station upstairs and one downstairs
Bed Time
-crib sheets (not a huge rush, he'll be in my room for a bit)
-wash the rock and play bedding
Diaper Care
-butt paste
-get out some newborn diapers and wipes for upstair and downstair changes
Things for Me
-Underwear that I don't mind ruining for the first few weeks
-wash my nursing bras and camis
Other
-put the PnP together downstairs and set up for a changing station
-wash the swing seat cover and have that set up in the corner
-finish packing my hospital bag
I need a breast pump, nursing bras and tops, and some pads and cheap underwear. Everything for baby boy is already set though, but I may pick up more newborn diapers and some medicines and creams so we don't have to worry about restocking after a week or two.
We're waiting on our baby shower on the 18th to see what we still need to buy. My mom and sister are getting us the car seat and swing. We have the crib and mattress left from Noah and my sister gave me her son's changing table. So I need:
Changing pad
Changing pad cover
Pack N Play (to put Chloe in for our room)
More clothes
Bath wash/shampoo
A few more towels/wash cloths
I'm not sure right now if I'll be nursing or not but either way I'll still need feeding supplies; like nursing cover/bras, bottles, etc
- Crib pad
- Changing pad
- Pack n Play sheet (not as important right now)
- Bottles for when he starts drinking pumped milk
- Breast milk storage bags
- Nursing pads
- Nipple cream
- Pads
- Nursing bras/tanks
- Infant Tylenol/gas drops
I still need to:
- Wash crib bedding/put it together (not important right away)
- Get curtains and blinds for nursery, hang pictures
- Pack hospital bags
- Take rock n play, bouncer, etc. out of boxes
- Put carseat in the car
I think that might be it. I'm going to try and get all this accomplished within the next few weeks or so.
-New membranes and tubing for breastpump
-nursing pads
-Baby wash
-diaper rash cream
-lotion
-super size pads for post partum bleeding
-crib sheet
-waterproof mattress pad for crib (both of these can be bought later since baby will use moses basket or basinette for the first few weeks at least)
-Double stroller or sit and stand (again, probably a purchase that will wait since I'll carry the new baby in a sling while he is new)
-New motor for the swing (the motor is dead on mine!)

Thank you Meganpixel for my beautiful siggy! I love it!
I still need:
-New motor for the swing (the motor is dead on mine!)
We were given a swing from a friend and found out the motor is dead. What kind of swing do you have? DH tried taking ours apart to fix it, but he couldn't figure out how to get inside it (and he's SUPER handy and usually never has problems with things like this!). Any advice/ideas on how to fix it? It's a Graco but I couldn't find a serial number to try and look it up online...
-some more pacifiers
-a diaper genie
-some more towels and wash cloths
-some more receiving blankets
What I need for myself is:
-manual pump
-a nursing bra (have a couple but will buy one or two after my milk comes in)
-maybe a couple nursing tops
-maybe some pads (I have to see what I have already)
I've had several people tell me they were going to get stuff and asked what we needed still (I directed them to my registry) but I'm not counting on anyone. I figure if they haven't gotten anything yet, they probably wont or will get a cute outfit after she is born, which wont help with the necessities lol. We will go get the remaining items on our list on the 15th... nearly a month after my shower and days before I want everything done by.
The couple things I need to do (my goal is by the 20th, when I'm 36 weeks):
-put car seat and mirror in van
-figure out where to put bassinet in room and move furniture if necessary
-set up everything in room like diapers, wipes, wipe warmer, etc.
-put swing in living room
-pack hospital bag
-get birth plan and easing pain techniques ready

Updating my list because I got a few things tonight:
- Changing pad
- Pack n Play sheet (not as important right now)
- Mesh bumper
- More bottles (Got 1 to try)
- Nipple cream
- Pads
- Nursing bras/tanks
- Infant Tylenol/gas drops
I still need to:
- Wash crib bedding/put it together (not important right away)
- Get curtains and blinds for nursery, hang pictures
- Pack hospital bags
- Take rock n play, bouncer, etc. out of boxes
- Put carseat in the car
The biggest things that I need are a sleep sack, a few more toys, and some cloth diapers. (As well as cloth diaper accessories.) I don't technically need the cloth diapers because I got so many disposables at my baby showers! But if I don't get them before he comes I probably never will.
I need to set everything up in his room. I'm still letting the furniture air out though because it still has that new furniture smell. Luckily it hasn't been too hot in the past few days so I was able to keep his window open.
Oh my I feel so behind! I just had my baby shower 2 weeks ago or so and now I'm just trying to get all the stuff we didn't get! My list has been very shortened compared to what it was lol, I also still need to pack the hospital bags, I have started to set up baby boys stuff for the hospital though.
Another changing table cover
Trash can
Hamper
Baskets/storage bins (mainly for the diapers, were doing cloth)
Another boppy pillow cover
Travel system
Extra carseat base
Mirrors for the car to see baby while driving
Play yard
High chair (which can wait a little bit)
Moby wrap
Thermometer
Video monitor
Medicine (tylenol, gas drops)
Baby wash and lotion
Cloth diapers (I still need to get them ordered! Flips covers and inserts)
Wet bag
Diaper pail and liners
A few more clothes, mainly sleepers
For me...
Cheap granny panties
Some crapy sweat pants or yoga pants for leaving the hospital
More pads
Nursing bras (still debating on, I'm planning on pumping mostly)
I believe that's the main last bit of it. I'm waiting for DH to get back home to finish getting a lot of that stuff. I'm also still trying to finish organizing and washing his stuff in the nursery. I hope I get it all done in time! I feel so unprepared compared to everyone!
I need a breast pump, nursing bras and tops, and some pads and cheap underwear. Everything for baby boy is already set though, but I may pick up more newborn diapers and some medicines and creams so we don't have to worry about restocking after a week or two.
I ended up with a free breast pump thanks to that link that someone posted a little while back
So now my list is just down to nursing bras/tops, pads, underwear, and a few more diapers.
