Well this day has been crappy from the get go today. I woke up after having a bad dream and felt stressed out. My blood sugar was high (even though they just up'd my insulin), my kids were making messes and I was just tired overall, and cranky. So I go in to have my appointment. Blood pressure was 120/84 which is high for me. I just laughed and said it figures. Told the nurse I'd been having contractions (although still not regular) since Saturday, and she said he would probably go ahead and check me just to see what we were looking at and had me undress. So the dr comes in does the GBS test and then my 1st internal, He said I am officially 1.5 cm dialated and 80% effaced
Although he did say her head was down but still bobbing...so I'm guessing I still have at least a week (who knows maybe I will make it to Sept this time). Gives me a little piece of mind. He did say they would not let me go past 39 weeks at the VERY most, and I would start have NST every week from now until she is born. He also sent me for bloodwork today since my blood sugar has been high today. So my appointment went well and I'm feeling a bit less stressed. Now I just have to go to both of my kid's parent meetings/meet the teacher tonight and then I will have survived this day
