Does baby sleep with/under a blanket?

If Elliott has his Snuza on and a non fleece sleeper I will wrap a blanket around his torso and legs and tuck it under him. He gets claustrophobic easily if anything is over his face, so I make sure he has his snuza on him.

I didn't realize that Elliott was a day older than Kyah. Awww!

It depends. She is usually swaddled in her fleece Swaddle Me, so it's plenty warm. But, if it's a little cold in the house, I may tuck an extra blanket around her. I let her nap unswaddled and with a blanket sometimes, and this silly girl LOVES to have it over her face. She pulls it up around her face constantly to fall asleep. It scares me too much to let her sleep overnight unswaddled with a blanket because of that right now.

Only during her naps because I can easily keep an eye on her. I've found her several times with the blanket covering her face. I won't use one at night until she is much older. I use a Halo sleep sack at night and that keeps her very warm

Same as Katie and Krista, Remy loves to cover his face while falling asleep! So I only use one for naps and at night he is in a fleece sleep sack.

Matthew likes to cover his face to ha ha during naps sometimes he will cover his face with his bib lok he naps in his swing or carseat on the go and I have mirrors iin the car to watch him. Anywho off topic a bit there but he sleeps with a blanket at night and wont have it any other way lol hes never covered his face at night so that's good.besides I have a video/audio monitor that is always on and a snuza for him to so I feel a lot better about it.

yes, Lincoln's room can get chilly, though now that he rolls over so much he ends up on top of it most of the time.

Yep Abbie LOVES her blanket! She gets 2 fistfulls of blanket and pulls it right up by her cheeks. I actually had a lady stop me in the mall and ask if she could move the blanket away from abbie's face because it scared her. I told her no she couldn't because that is the way she sleeps. At christmas we got her several of the miniature blankets attatched to a stuffed animal and we now let her sleep with those so she doesn't get a big blanket on her face. I always check on her after she goes to sleep and then move the blanket, but if she is tires she wants the blanket there. I think Abbie's habit started because when I would nurse her she would grab my shirt and pull it to her...then she kept doing it with her blankets later.

Mason has a blanket over him at night because he wont be swaddled and it gets cold in our room. We have a wood stove and it doesnt keep us too warm at night and im too paranoid to leave an electric heater on in our room all night. It goes only up to his waist and he doesnt usually pull it up higher.

Kyah sleeps beside me and we both sleep under the same blanket. I really need to buy her a lovey blanket. I mean the blankets with the stuffed animal attached. I think she would like to snuggle with it

For those of you who use sleep sacks, do you use the ones without arms? The one night I laid Sam down in that instead of swaddled his little hands were so cold in the morning, even with long sleeved pjs.

Maura sleeps in bed with me, and she uses the same blanket that I do. Most nights she kicks it off of her, but sometimes she just snuggles up really close to me with the blanket over her lower body.
