I am curious about this because I read everywhere that the baby will refuse if they are not hungry but my chunker man has never refused to nurse which is great for me because it is a great way to calm him down when he gets frustrated or overstimulated. In fact I'm sure he would stay latched on all day if I let him and some days I do if it is a rough day lol what about your little ones?

Matthew has never refused the boob, hes been fussy while nursing before but always ends up eating. I use it to calm him down to... works everytime lol

Sometimes. I've gotten pretty good at knowing when she wants boobie and when something else will work.

She hasn't refused yet. The only time she refuses is when I try to get her to take a bottle.

My baby girl has never refused either. She did have a tough time when she got her first cold. But, that is understandable. And yep, it has the calming effect on her too

She has done a few times. If she gets really angry sometimes she won't latch on until she's calmed down. One time i had just taken a shower and she was fine and then suddenly started screaming and wouldn't feed... It went on for a few hours and the only thing i could think was causing it was i had used a new soap and maybe smelled different. Other than that, she doesn't usually refuse the boob

cora refuses all the time. She'll arch and look around. She is not a comfort nurser.
