Hi I dont really write on this but I read alot of you girls topics and stuff well I have a 6 month old baby boy he just got his 6 months shots on Thursday and ever since he's been super cranky and hasn't been wanting to sleep at night he wakes up every 2 to 3 hours and he usually sleeps all night 7 to 8 hours Is this normal has this happen to any of your babies after they get there shots do they act any different??

First, welcome!!! So glad you decided to post, you can respond to our topics any time I would say that it might be a combination of things - it could be a side effect of his shots, it could also be a growth spurt where they sometimes go through sleep regression. I wouldn't be too concerned because unfortunately babies sleep habits change all the time, just when I think my son has a schedule he changes it again! Hang in there I'm sure it will be back to normal soon!

He may just be adjusting to his shots, growing or having a sleep regression. Is he eating when he wakes up or is he just fussing then going back to sleep?

My son used to fuss a few minutes every few hours when he was getting into a routine. He never started to actually cry, it was fussing that eventually quieted down and he put himself back to sleep. I used to jump up and get him, but since I let him fuss a little he doesn't wake anymore.

I jus have the same o say as the other ladies, adjusting to the shots, growth spurt or that sleep regression. I'm leaning more towards the growth spurt though because they usually dont have effects from the shots for more then like 24 ish hours.

Thanks ladies for welcoming me . I was thinking the same thing maybe Is a growth spurt but sheesh It happen all of a sudden I haven't gotten any sleep since Thursday I'm falling asleep at work Its crazy lol I just hope It gets better soon before I go nuts lol
