I know there isn't a lot of action on this board, but I thought I'd post and see if anyone had any helpful hints/tips.
I'm 11 weeks pregnant by a guy who isn't at all in the picture. Yesterday an acquaintance asked me out. Nothing fancy, just go wander around a park near where we live. We've been around each other on a bunch of occasions, but never just the two of us. I accepted and was planning to tell him about the pregnancy during our "date" (I'm using that term with caution), but it came up in conversation later that day. I would absolutely have understood if he immediately pulled back or got really awkward; considering dating a pregnant lady is more than a little complicated, but he didn't. We kept chatting and it doesn't seem to have phased him much.
So, looks like I'm going on a first "date" this weekend.
Any thoughts or tips from ladies who might have been in a similar situation? Or anyone?
Thanks! It went really well actually. I think we're going to see each other again this weekend. I still think he might be a little nuts for considering getting involved with me, but I'm just going to try to relax and enjoy his company.
I guess it's been about two months now, time flies when you're pregnant!
We see each other every weekend. It's not particularly serious, but I'm ok with that, it's just nice to have someone to talk with and hang out with. I'm not sure if it will last, I still think the pregnancy scares him more than he lets on, but I enjoy his company, so I'm just taking things as they come.
A baby boy in March! Fantastic! My baby boy should be here in February
