Have any of you ever read any that you really liked? Any recommendations?

Any you plan to read or want to read?

I like to over prepare for everything in my life, LOL, so I am putting together my reading list.

Considering What to Expect When You are Expecting, but I don't know if there is really anything in that book that I can't read online. Anyone read it and love it?

Loved this one when I waspregnant with DD...she has a great sense of humour and is very real

Girlfriends’ Guide — with Vicki Iovine – the original girlfriend

And I LOVED Secrets of The Baby Whispere when she was a newborn. I'll probably be brushing up on this book again before this baby comes. Dr Sears has some good books also.

For the most part though, I don't read many parenting and pregnancy books and try to take it day by day and just get to know my baby, but sometimes it's nice to have a reference book if you want to check something quickly.

ETA: I bought WTEWYE, WTE The First Year and WTE The Second Year at a thrift store for really cheap and had them as references at home, especially the last two. It's nice when you run into something like teething or fevers or whatever else for the first time. I really liked to look up all the milestones and see how she was deloping compared to most babies of the same age. I probably wouldn't have paid full price for all 3, but a few bucks each was worth it.

I like the Mayo Clinic Guide to Pregnancy as a reference book.
