We only have a 2 bedroom house and it is very small at that. We'll be selling this place before baby bean makes his or her arrival, if all goes well. Anyone else have to make big changes in their lives in the next months before our babies arrive?
well, we are still in that same boat (2 bedroom, small house) post baby's arrival and it looks like I am pregnant. Personally i want to wait until 2nd baby arrives and see what our finances look like before we jump ship. Will I still work? Full-time? etc. I know what our bills are here, etc. The other thing is if we have a boy this time, we definitely need a plan. It is very hard to sell right now, we live in a townhouse development and the house across from ours is a 3 bedroom for sale.
Yeah, we will be moving, too. but probably not until after the baby is born. My DH accepted a job in a smaller town about an hour from where we live. He has been commuting for about a year now. We wanted to wait until Jan 2013 before finding a house, selling/renting our current house, and then move.

Ha! No move for us. But we did just consolidate baby girl's nursery and playroom into one big room and shoved the guest bed into her old nursery to give us an extra space for new babe... we are going to be CRAMPED But happy!
Wife to Stu, Mommy to English Jane (15 months), remembering sweet babe lost Feb. 24 at 8 weeks
DH will be at a new job in August, meaning we will be moving after our bean is here
Also, big changes for me.
Quit smoking the second I got a positive,
Those are all so big for me!
We have a 5br house and are building a new home because we've outgrown it, so we currently have our house up for sale. I don't know how realistic it is to say we HOPE that it sells before baby comes because the market is so terrible. Our luck would be a contract the week the baby is due! LOL! We've decided that if it does not sell by the end of August, we are taking it down through the holidays and will re list in January. That way it gives us some peace right after the baby is born....plus, the fall/winter months aren't good for house selling anyway I know things will work out how they are supposed to, so I'm trying not to get stressed
We bought a house last year with the intention that we would be having kids fairly soon. We have a room that is specifically for the nursery. No other big changes really. Other than just getting the nursery ready.
DH bought a huge 8 bedroom house on the other side of the country, before we even started dating, as a renovation project. We completely gutted it a few months ago, right down to the studs. It won't be anywhere near ready to live in by the time the baby is due to come though. We both work as artists and right now we're not making money to pay for any work to be done on the house just yet. DH is looking for a fulltime job to start in around March - we hope. It'll be strange for him.
