My HCG came back at only 30, which my doc doesn't consider viable (they want to see 50), but they said is consistent with how early I am. The nurse pretty much said they hate it when people test so early. Anyway, I have to go for another on Wednesday, and I will be nervous until I get a good number back then. Until then, I will continue obsessively googling about HCG levels...

Lurking...

I had HCG levels drawn with my last pregnancy. My OB said the first number really doesn't tell you much of anything, it's how they compare to the follow up numbers that really show what's going on.

Lurking, my RE likes to see the numbers in a certain range as well. At 13 dpo my hcg was 24 and he said he would like to see it around 50 at that point (13 dpo). So I would think 30 at 11 dpo is pretty good, I wouldn't worry about her saying something about testing too early, shes not paying for your pregnancy tests. I also test very early, and then go for betas as soon as I get a bfp. Anyways, I think your numbers are fine for that stage.

try not to worry until you get second draw and shows what your doubling rate is, as i understand it from my OB the rate of increase is much more important than the actual number.

Sounds pretty normal actually with you being so early.

Try not to stress and try to get a repeat draw.

Just lurking,

With my last baby, at 13dpo, my hcg was only a 28. I thought for sure it was a chemical pg being that low.....at 15dpo it had tripled to 101! And of course she's here! I charted and used opks....it was definitely 13dpo!

My first pregnancy, my 16dpo beta was only 12.4, and I know my dates were dead on because I did IVF. 30 is a perfectly good number as long as they continue to double every 48-72 hours!
