I'm probably just nervous over nothing, but the past 3 days (since I got the BFP), my temp has been almost .3 degrees above normal post-O temps. Today, it went back down to the post-O temp. I know it isn't a huge drop and I should probably just ignore it, but that's easier said than done...

I looked through some FF charts and it looks like some temp drops are normal, I checked for spotting and there isn't any... I'm just being a little crazy. I was planning on holding back on testing for today, but maybe I'll test with SMU now.

Anyone else have their temps go down a few days after a BFP?

It went down at 16DPO but not below the coverline. I'm like 22DPO or something like that now and still very pregnant. Don't fret, and step away from the thermometer lol. Once you're pregnant, your BBT doesn't really have any meaning unless of course it goes way below the coverline.

I'm sorry...I don't temp. I hope everything is fine, though. I know all these little signs can be really nerve wracking since we all want this so badly!

I don't temp so I don't know what to tell you but if you are nervous you could always go get betas drawn to ease your mind. I am trying to get mine done but it's snowing here and it's closed!!!!

I know I need to stop temping, I'm just still so nervous and kinda crazy even though I'm still well above the coverline ! I figured I'd keep temping until AF is at least late (she's "due" Wednesday), and then I'll try to kick the habit

I caved and tested with SMU even though I wasn't going to....

Line looks like it is a hair darker than yesterdays, so I feel a lot better.

Emily, I am still temping at 21 dpo. I will temp (at least) until my first u/s appt next week friday. It's one way I am trying to keep myself sane. My chart went down a tiny bit but not quite like yours. I'm sure it's normal though; tomorrow am it will most likely shoot up! I'll be stalking it.

I wouldn't worry about that slight drop. Glad your test reassured you. BTW, I'm still temping and I got my bfp 8 days ago, and today is also the first day I didn't test. You are def. not the only one!

Honestly I would stop temping! It's only reassuring as long as it's staying up and then the anxiety of a drop is just awful! I did this with my first pregnancy and drove myself crazy, and he was just fine Hormones fluctuate and so there will be variations as our hormones settle.

I think it's ok since it's still way above your cover line. I hope you get to stop temping in the next week or so. I think once you get the BFP it can stress you out. I know I'm way more concerned about it now that I got my BFP. I'm going to try to stop after I get my beta results.

Thanks everyone, I feel a lot better than I did this morning! I think I might temp just a few more days and then stop.

I think what I'm most nervous about is that my first doctors appt isn't for another 4 weeks (March 14). I was surprised they didn't want me in until 8 weeks, but I did some research and guess it's normal for someone like me who has never been pregnant before and therefore has never had any complications...

Here's my chart if it makes you feel any better!

My Ovulation Chart

I went through some dips after I o'd before and after my BFP. I stopped temping at 16DPO because I was driving myself crazy.
