I'd do a full sized Arms Reach co-sleeper if you have the room over a bassinet. Baby will be able to use it much longer. I had a traditional bassinet with Josiah, and after about a month, he was really uncomfortable in it! He hated it actually. So, I'm planning on selling it and buying the co-sleeper since we have a bigger house now and aren't in a 10x10 bedroom this time around
As for pack n play, will you be having baby sleep other places often? Or just occasionally when really little? We skipped the pack n play the first time around and purchased this instead: Amazon.com: Leachco Roam 'N Holiday 4 in 1 Anywhere Bed, Brown with Green Forest Frolics Sheet: Baby
It was perfect for when he needed to take naps at Grandma's house, and would be perfect for vacations too since it only weighs 4lbs and can fit in a suitcase. If you decide you want a pack n play, I'd get one that has the bassinet built on the top, kill two birds with one stone

I had something similar to this; same structure but different color and fabric design. We used it more as a play area or a "keeping baby safe" area than anything else. The two bassinets I got from lil lamb closet sale here. One she liked and the other she absolutely hated. The Glider chair and ottoman (similar to picture below) I also got at a garage sale in excellent condition. My mom re-upholstered it for me because it had jeans upholstery that didn't go with the colors of the nursery and it is still in excellent condition.
we used our pack n play a lot the first 6months, b/c our bedrooms were on the 2nd floor further away from the living room, so we used the changing area everyday. Plus were have big dogs, so when my daughter was real tiny we laid her in there to play or sleep sometimes.
The first time we did not get a co-sleeper, and that's something I'm getting this time for sure. I nursed, so I was getting up every 2hrs at night, walking downstairs to watch tv while bfing, (so i'd stay away, she was a long nurser, and would go for about 45mins). Plus I was dead set on having my kid sleep in their own room from the start, but b/c she nursed so often and for a long period of time, I wasn't in my own bed very long or often, b/c i passed out on the recliner. So this time I want to stay in my own bed and just roll over the nurse:]
We didn't get a rocker, and never used one actually, b/c my daughter found more comfort in nursing than rocking.
LOVED my co-sleeper...although DD ended up in bed with me quite a lot DDs room was upstairs, so we had a pack-n-play with the changing part downstairs, and that was a lifesaver. It gave us somewhere to lay her where the cats couldn't bother her, somewhere to change her, and she loved to play in it when she was older.
We skipped the traditional changing table in her room...I couldn't see a need for it and I haven't missed it at all. We did get a glider rocker, but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.

We used our pack-n-play for the first 6 months before we moved LO upstairs to his own room. It was great in that it had a bassinett part to it and also a removable changing table, so we never really had to go upstairs for anything.
My most favorite purchase though (and I would do it all over again if I had to) would be the Newco Serenity Classic Non Swivel Glider & matching gliding ottoman from Babies-R-Us. It was a little pricey, but well worth what we paid for it. Its super comfy and after we are done with it in the nursery, it can be moved downstairs as a part of our regular furniture. BEST. PURCHASE. EVER.
