Well the nurse called and asked me to go in. I pretty much knew right then it wasn't good. My 2nd beta was 10.0. First one was 10.9. So technically I'm not even pregnant anymore. I started spotting too, so I'm sure I will start tomorrow. I guess this is one of the bad things about testing early since AF is due today, if I would have waited, I probably wouldn't have even know.

So she sent me for lab work to test for clotting disorder. It was like 9 vials of blood. Those results won't be back for about 2 weeks. So if its positive there is a number of things that can be done, but most likely I will be getting shots every day. If it comes back neg, we keep trying and will be on progesterone during my next pregnancy for sure.

I'm glad I prepared myself for this, it hurts, but I feel like it wouldn't be as numbing as the last one. Because I have a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy under my belt and within 2 months of each other, she can code a lot of tests differently and my insurance will pay for more.

But she says my insurance prob wont pay for the progesterone cream....can you guys that have been on it before give me an idea of what kind of expense I'm looking at there?

Anyhow, hopefully I fully start soon so I can get this over with, I don't want it to drag on too long.

Thank you guys for all the support, I'm sorry I joined so early. I will def be waiting longer next time. I hope you all have happy and healthy pregnancies and I hope I don't see any of you back on the TTC board!!! Good luck!

I am so sorry, that is rough.

Progesterone cream, like the OTC stuff? It's like $5 a big bottle or something. I thought it wasn't as effective as the pill form though and most doctors didn't do it? Or is it like a prescription form of it?

I am so sad to hear your news. I pray God comforts and heal your sad heart.i Lso pray that you'll be in the next 1 or 2 DDC. Please come and share your good news when it happens. With dds pregnancy I did progesterone vaginal suppositories; after I insurance just had to pay $5. Insurance covered mine though so yours would probably be covered. Hugs to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear your news! I know what you mean about feeling like it won't be quite as hard after multiple losses. My second was far less emotionally taxing than my first, even though I was devastated and hated every minute of it. As for the cream, I don't know cost... I'm on 100 mg. oral prometrium, and that stuff is EXPENSIVE! Under my last insurance it fell into one of the "non-preferred" tiers, and cost me $75/refill. Now we have new insurance, and it costs me $25/refill. Each refill lasts me about 3 cycles. I hope the bloodwork gives you some answers. All the best to you. And again, I am so, so sorry for your loss.
