I had DH bring me a footlong sandwich from Subway, I devoured the whole thing, and I can't even make myself feel that guilty about it. Nothing else sounded good, and even though I know it is one of those things to avoid, I wanted it SO badly.

It might be the most enjoyable sandwich I have ever had...my tummy is full and I feel better than I have felt in a couple of days. Yum yum!

You're eating for 3 You're good! I am usually a very healthy vegan but I am so sick and have so many food aversions that I've been eating horribly. Tonight pizza! The rest of the day I had a bowl of corn flakes and few sweets. I hardly know myself, though I was like this when pregnant with DS.

Please feel no shame, that is pretty healthy actually. Whatever you can stomach and, in your case, actually enjoy is perfect. I, on the othe hand, could not bear the thought of a sandwich. My boss bought lunch for us today at subway and I had to order pizza instead; none of the sandwiches or footlong sounded appetizing. Even with that, i was only able to eat half of their personal pizza; felt too bloated and constipated to enjoy the rest. So, I am glad you actually got yours and enjoyed it. The rest of us who can't eat will live vicariously through you

Don't feel bad about the meat... Lysteria from cold cuts is so super rare, I'm surprised so many pregnant people stick to it. Heated lunch meat sounds so wrong and repulsive.

I was additcted to Subway and Jimmy John's sandwhiches for about a week! I could have eat a footlong at each meal I was that hungry. Now I'm craving chips and salsa so we're going out for Mexican tonight and I'm not going to feel bad about all the carbs I'll be devouring!

My dr told me to eat whatever i'm craving, even if it is a deli meat sandwich. She said the odds of getting listeria(sp) from deli meat is very low. So I'm sure your aOK
