Who is still nursing? me me me! Are you having discomfort or supply issues? Or is it going well? it is getting uncomfortable. my supply is dropping from the sleeping pills i take for nausea. he is starting to nurse less though (down from every hour or two to around 3 times a day). i didnt take the pill last night since i am feeling super nauseous anyway, i sometimes doubt that it helps anymore. so if its not helping at least i can work on getting my supply back up a bit. Any plans on weaning anytime soon? we have started working on night weaning. so far he is doing well accepting me saying no and to wait in the night. pretty soon i will not give it an all but its still hard being so tired to deal with a cranky baby in the night. easier to just give in.

I was still nursing when I got pregnant. Josiah self-weaned when I was about 5.5 weeks pregnant because he said my milk tasted yucky. I was happy about it... we nursed for 41 long months!!
I think we are almost done. I've been limiting it to bedtime and lately I've felt so sick that I've just let DH put her down before bed so she won't ask. I think I've fed her twice in the last week and that's because she was sick. I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Yup, still nursing. She still does twice a day--before bed and when she wakes up in the morning. Its only twice but she does nurse for about an hour each time. I'm not sure how much she's getting, it doesn't seem like much because I rarely hear her gulp anymore, she just really likes the comfort and would nurse more if I let her. Its very uncomfortable for me right now so I can't say I'll be sad when she weans. Actually I think I'll cut her off if she hasn't weaned by 20 weeks. I had preterm labor when I was pregnant with her at 30 weeks and I don't want to provoke more contractions than I usually get at that time.
DS will be three in July and he still nurses. This is my third pregnancy this year and every time I am pregnant nursing frequency declines because of nausea and soreness. Mostly we nurse at night and in the morning, and when he's sick (like now) through the night. I'm happy to continue nursing through the pregnancy as well as tandem nursing, but also, while I'll be very sad to stop nursing, I know that 6-7 years of continual nursing may start to feel a bit old! Mind you, DS is such a fan!

I'm still nursing. I'm working on weaning. Jace will be 1 next month. My supply is low. And he has only gained 2 oz in the last 5 months. I'm thankful he hasn't lost any weight. But, I think its time to wean.
We have been seeing a nutritionist and he also goes to speech therapy twice a week. He had some reflux problems from a few weeks as an infant. And will throw up any solids, I'm able to get him to take.
