No, we've never done anything like that. And I don't see us starting now.

DH bought me flowers when DS was born. He said he was going to get me something more, but we weren't exactly expecting baby for another couple weeks so he hadn't gotten around to it. I don't expect anything.

I told my husband about a push present and quite naturally he had never heard of it...since I do all the finances in our house he started cashing his paychecks and stashing a little bit aside before depositing in the account. When I found out he was stashing money of course I was upset...then he told me he wanted to save up without me knowing because it was for my push present! He had already saved more than $100 when I found out...I have no clue what he is planning to get, but I'm hoping it's nothing extravagant! I told him I don't expect much but it's our first child and he's really excited

Just flowers here, and I don't need anything more than that. The baby is my push present! That said, if DH gets any fancy ideas, it had better not be a cake!

I love Cake Wrecks!

I mentioned it to DH and he thought it was a good idea. No idea if he'll get anything though since we're scraping together some money to go on two trips later this year.

I have never heard of a push present before! I'm gonna have to mention this to DH. I really love your idea, Angelina, of getting something and being able to give it to your child later on. That is really special

Dont need one, but we agreed that my push present would be a wedding band. It will have birth stones for both kiddos in it.

JillMama, that is adorable what your child said. haha.

As for me... boy, it would mean a lot to me if my DH did that, but it doesn't seem as special if I go "I WANT A PRESENT" haha.

My MIL told DH he had to get me one when I was preggers with DD. I'd never heard of it until then. He got me a picture frame that has all of her birth information engraved on one side and her photo on the other. He'll get me the same thing for peanut.
