Thanks, girls! DH and I did a few things last night already that have made things easier on me. He is stepping up big time to help around the house...I think he likes it when I say I "need" him, because he feels like he has a purpose in all of this. I moved some things for Claire downstairs (some books and toys, as well as her diapers/wipes/etc) so we can spend more time down there. DH practiced with Claire for a LONG time last night going down the stairs by herself so I don't have to carry her, and I'm just having to learn that I can't do it all. It will take Claire some time to get used to a Mama who can't pick her up all the time and run around the yard, but it will all be okay....I keep reminding myself that when these babies are born healthy, these times will be totally worth it.
Kansascity kitty and kristap4 like this.

I know what you mean about "pushing it". I always tend to overdo it until I go too far. Try and take it easy, good luck!

Glad to hear you've found some ways to make life easier! I now have DS go up and down our stairs by himself as well. I don't know how much Claire weighs, but at 27 pounds, it's tough to carry DS up and down 16 steps all day.
