I have a bigger appetite than a teenage boy. Seriously, it is out of control! I want to eat everything in the house right now too! I got a footlong Subway sandwich at lunch, figuring I would eat half and then eat the other half later. I finished one half at 12:30 and managed to wait for 2 hours before eating the other half.....I mine as well have not eaten anything! I am starving! This little girl has to have dreams of being a bodybuilder or something....
When I went to my doctors appointment today there was a sign on the wall and it said how much we should be eating a day and I was completely surprised. We are supposed to eat 2-3 cups of vegetables and I think 1-2 cups of fruit and 5-7 ounces of meat and beans. I was surprised. There is no way I eat that much every single day, I really need to step my game up lol.
It seems like I keep going through phases where I am super starving and some days where I'm not as hungry. But definitely more hungry than I was in the 1st trimester! Your baby must be going through a growth spurt!

I am generally hungry throughout the day and pack several items in my lunch bag to eat throughout the day. I eat roughly every 2 hours. I bring things like yogurt, kashi crackers and a cheese stick, almonds, instant cream of wheat, a piece of fruit, my sandwich for lunch (sometimes I'll bring a little bag of pop chips or a chocolate pudding to go along with the sandwich) and it definitely helps me not want to inhale my entire kitchen once I get home from work (or buy tons of crap I don't need at the grocery store on the way home!).
