DH is worked overnights this past weekend at the hospital, so he's sleeping and probably will until after lunch, so I think I'll get the kids to the mall for sandal shopping. How's that for excitement? DH is off tonight. He was supposed to go cover at another fire station due to the whole department being at a wake for one of their own, but I guess they have plenty of people so now he'll be home. I think we'll pack up a picnic lunch and go head out to the State Park for some hiking or find a fun playground to hang out at.

Sorry you have to work. Are you home for a good chunk of the day to hang out with the family?

We are relaxing. Doing some gardening an heading out to the store later (either Burlington or Babies r Us to look at baby items. Hope everyone has a great day today!

We did the cook out stuff yesterday at a friends. We might go swimming at a friends later but for now I am just resting and hanging out.

Cooking out today. It is supposed to rain tomorrow and Wednesday. I can't wait! We REALLY need the rain.

we got to hang out together kid free, who really gets that? so we took full advantage of it, we went and hung around town did some baby shopping, got food for dinner, went to breakfast and lunch, picked his daughter up and went to watch avengers, totally not my kind of movie but i knew he had been wanting to see it

For those of us who didn't have memorial day holiday and who are a day ahead, it was like any other day Cleaned the house up a bit and took dd to see the ducks at the pond. Reading everyone's post makes my mouth water for bbq. We need to go and get a grill. Didn't bring ours from the US because their customs are so finicky about what can be brought in (fear of diseases, contamination, etc.). Hope you all had a wonderful memorial day. Can't believe we'll be missing July 4th too. Will dress up dd in her july 4th dress regardless

We bought our 3 year old his big boy bed and spent the day moving rooms around and putting together his bed. I posted a thread if you wantt o see it!
