So last night I woke up at 11:45pm with terrible cramps. I had just gone pee about 15 minutes before and took some Tums for heartburn. My stomach was killing me. It didn't feel like real contractions. It was just a constant pain for 10 minutes straight. TMI but I had a pretty big fart and started feeling better. I was ready to go to the ER if it lasted another 5 minutes. Then at like 1:15am it happened again and lasted for 5 minutes. It was like pressure in my stomach. I know what contractions feel like, but this didn't feel like one. But I had no gas at all. I went back to sleep and it happened AGAIN at 1:45am, just for 1 minute and no gas again. I decided if it happened 2 more times I would go in, but it never happened again. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it was just gas pain?i have never had this happening any of my pregnancies. Maybe my stomach didn't like something I ate that day? I dunno. I hope it doesn't happen tonight, but if it does I will be calling the doctor in the morning.

I had horrible gas/indigestion last night...it was intensely painful on and off all night. I knew it was gas b/c of what I ate yesterday, but it still freaked me out. I wouldn't worry if your uterus isn't getting hard like you are contracting. Hope you are feeling better!

This is my 4th pregnancy and never in my life until this year (and this pregnancy) did I know how HORRIBLE gas pain can really be.

It can be almost unbearable. Search online about some "relief methods" and you'll find some ways you can position yourself and move to get rid of it...

I feel your pain!

Not quite the same.. But the other night I was having a dream I was in labor and I woke up really thinking I was! I was in TERRIBLE pain. It felt like menstrual cramps times 100. I even ended up throwing up because it hurt so bad. I have no idea what labor feels like, so I was freaking out. But thankfully it went away within ten minutes. If it happened again I was going to go to the hospital. I've been thinking it's maybe IBS? Because I didn't have any gas or anything... Hmmm
