I couldn't find the other one, so I figured I would just make a new one. (The other one was getting long anyways)
So post whatever is on your mind, big or small. I always have something i'd like to talk about that isn't necessarily important enough to start a whole new topic. Lol
I'll start! I've been babysitting for my mom while she was on vacation, so to be nice she took me bra shopping. Which was so needed! I went from a 34B... to a ..... 36D! Jesus Christ! I had no idea I'd be in a D just by six months. I got a sports bra and a really soft bra with no under wire because of the rib pain I've been having. They both feel marvelous compared to the push up with under wire i have been wearing the past six months. Woo!
I'm currently hanging out at a 32DD!!! My normal pre-pregnancy size was a 32B, I got up to a 32D when nursing, and only had a few weeks after weaning when they shrank before starting to grow again. Yipes!
Josiah is watching cartoons and eating lunch, then we're both laying down for a nap. Very much needed!
Ugh, I'm being a Debbie downer at the moment. I'm totally wiped out, could use a serious mommy break and an oversized piece of chocolate cake, or 10. I love my kids dont get me wrong, but hats off to the SAHMs who do it full time. Its exhausting, and im only a SAHM in the summer time!
Yes, being a SAHM is definitely the hardest job there is! There are days when I can't WAIT to leave for work for a few hours in the evening! We had a really rough morning, but a good rest of the day. Josiah is in the terrible 3's temper tantrum stage, and has been talking back to us... the morning started with him in timeout literally 2 minutes after waking up. We're just having to REALLY be consistent with our discipline, because he is very strong willed, and constantly trying to be "the boss". It is exhausting! But I love him to pieces

Sarah, I bet he can feel a change in the air, don't you think? I would be willing to bet that has something to do with it. Sorry you had such a rough day with him!
MommaSunshine, I am liking the part where you want 10 slices of chocolate cake-- I could totally go for those as well right now! I hope your evening is a little more relaxed and you get some "me" time!

I have chocolate cake and I'll be having some later, I'll have some for you ladies too It was my step-daughter's 14th birthday yesterday and I made sure to have some extra cake left!!
Melissa, glad you mentioned that; I forgot to in my post! As soon as I read that early on in the pregnancy, I quit using underwire. It makes a lot of sense but honestly, I am surprised to see that many maternity and nursing bras still have underwire in them! What the heck??

This thread has made me want half-frozen chocolate cake. With whipped cream icing. OHHH my, sounds like i'll be baking tonight!
It is so hot here right now, my son's pony is sleeping with her head in the water bucket, haha. It must feel good! I should put a sprinkler out for them, I wonder if they'd like it.
Zoe, that's too funny!! I've been hosing my haflinger (well, he's a lease of sorts; I don't own him) down in the afternoons, when he's really hot. Mostly just his legs though; he doesn't like the water all over him but really enjoys getting his legs cooled off. I wish I could afford one of those misters that I've seen advertised for cattle. I bet he would like that!

Nina, <3 Haflingers. Anything light or heavy draft is where my heart is, I just love them.
My son's pony loves water, she'll stand and be hosed all day and play with the water with her lips. My old guy is impartial - if he's tied he'll stand being hosed down but if he's just at liberty he'll turn his butt at me and give me the "don't you dare" look, haha. My big young draft runs from water like it's the scariest thing on earth. He HATES it, unless it involves him wading in the pond on his own terms, then he's a duck. Haha. Gotta love them and their funny personalities!
I just had a HUGE burger with sauteed onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, swiss cheese and ranch dressing. Oh and a side of parmesan garlic fries. And I ate all of it!
I'm not proud. The last couple days i haven't been eating good at all because family has been in town. It was delicious, but now I feel like I need a major healthy diet change, LOL
I just had the most RIDICULOUS thing happen to me tonight! I stopped at the store to buy underwear in the next size up because the ones I have were getting too tight. I found some decently cute and super comfy boy shorts that I think will work the rest of the pregnancy. Anyways, I get to the register and pay. Then the cashier picks up the phone since it is ringing, and shoves my stack of underwear, still on the hangers across the counter towards me. I was annoyed and said, "Um, could I please have a bag?" Her response was, "Yes, but they cost a nickel each." Apparently the city of Seattle passed a new law effective July 1st that bans all businesses from using plastic bags (at the risk of a $250 fine), and requires them to charge 5 cents for every paper bag they hand out!! I was ticked off she hadn't asked me if I wanted the bag BEFORE I swiped my debit card, and had to cram the underwear into my purse and make a mad dash for the car!! Thankfully, we do most of our shopping outside Seattle city limits, or that would be a MAJOR pain!!!

It's illegal where I live also. Except it's 15 cents a bag here... So stupid! Although I live in a huge city, so I can see how it's definitely a benefit to the environment. I've gotten used to bringing my own bags to stores now. But a lot of times I forget I actually forgot today when I was buying bra's and had to just walk out with them in hand. Lol!
