Do you guys remember me asking a while back about the heart rate? I would check her heart rate with my Doppler and it would be in the 150s and drop rapidly to the 90-100s. I knew it wasn't my heart rate.... She did the same thing for the dr today. The dr immediately sent us back for a nst and sat here with us almost the whole time bc the baby's hr is erratic. Finally it stabilized enough where she rushed us get for a bpp. I'm waiting now for that . Please keep Ella in your prayers.... I'm so worried!!!! . I'll update as soon as I can

Updated! So Geez....that was a bit dramatic AND traumatic! I was scheduled for a regular appointment and glucose test....came out 4 hours later worried to DEATH! So Ella did her heart decel thing for the doctor. The doctor was worried and sent us over for a NST (where they monitor the baby's heart rate and contractions). No contractions of course, but the nurse couldn't find her heart beat at ALL! She rushed out to grab the doctor and the doctor rushed in....found her heart beat, but it was very low. She sat with us through the entire NST. They had to get the little vibrater shaker thing out to "rough her up" a little to get her to move around so that they could try and figure out if it was a cord issue or what.....still didn't really help. It would go up into the 150's, but then it would drop back down into the 90's. My doctor kept her hand on my pulse, so she knew it was the baby and not me. She rushed us over for a BPP (bio physical profile) where they measure amniotic fluid, baby growth, check the placental blood flow and they have to move so many times during the BPP in order to score points. The baby can score 10/10.....10 being perfect. Ella scored a perfect 10! She was 2.8 lbs (down from the 90th to the 49th %, but the doctor wasn't too worried about that because my babies are never very big anyway...so 49% is good), she moved MORE than enough times during the u/s. Fluid was good and she was practicing her breathing so that was a score also!
The doctor said she isn't sure what's causing the decels, but I'm now going in every 2 weeks. She said to lay mostly on my side when I'm sleeping or laying on the couch because when I laid on my side we got a better reading out of her. She said it may be the way she's laying on her placenta that's causing her heart rate to drop. I'm still kind of worried though because this has been happening for months now! This is not something new.....would you guys be worried too? I checked on her with my doppler at home before I came into work and it was still really erratic. She started in the 150's and it would drop into the 120's. At what point would you guys just head over to the ER?

Oh no!! I hope they are able to figure out what is going on. I AM glad she pulled her trick for the doctor, so that this is getting the attention it deserves! Thinking of you!!!

I think it is Bio-Physical Profile...similar to a growth scan to make sure baby's growth is on target and that everything looks normal? Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Well I am glad to hear the testing found her good and healthy. I am not sure what to tell you I would be freaked too. I would say put the doppler down for sure though!! I don't know other then call your Ob and I hope it stops soon.

How scary! I'm glad everything looks good. I'm not sure when I'd head to the ER. I would be so worried, but if the doctor thinks things are good and you're being checked every two weeks, I guess I'd take a deep breath and try and not to worry (I know, stupid advice!).
Aww little Ella is keeping you on your toes! Hoping it isn't anything super major and a case of position or something that's relatively easy to fix!! Come on little girl, behave for mommy! Haha
I would be worried too. I'm not sure if going to the ER would help, since they probably would just do more of the same tests? Did they talk about the possibility of inducing a little early if this keeps up? I would think that might end up on the table in a situation like this.
