...that is going on all day and all night for the past week or so. I've had it during the evening/night's for a while now, but it's starting to be 24/7. Is anyone else dealing with it this bad and what are you doing for it? I'm trying to eat very bland foods and I've resorted to not even eating meals- just having a bite of something here and there because I'm trying to control this, but even that doesn't help! I am eating Tums like crazy, but don't know how safe that is (I think they can block iron absortion if you take too many or something like that).

Help!

I feel your pain!! I have found that if I slowly have a glass of 1% milk it eases up a little. I will also occasionally take a Tums, but I try not to take anything if I can help it.

Milk? Hmm. I'm going to have to try that. Thanks!

It definitely takes the edge of for me. I don't gulp it down, I just slowly drink a big glass of it. Not sure if it's the calcium in the milk, the fat or the sugars or all the above, but it does help!

I had pizza and salad for dinner tonight and I'm paying because we're out of milk. Ugh!

Yes, really bad heartburn/acid reflux here. I felt like I was going to vomit acid in the store earlier (sorry if that's TMI...)!

I too have found milk helps...I think it lines my stomach some. And I'm just trying to avoid acidic foods like tomatoes, fruits, etc. And carbonated drinks. Water, milk, bland food, and little bites at a time.
Hope you feel better soon!
