who wont be able to have a nursery for there baby? i thought there would be enough room in my daughters room for his stuff, but with all of her stuff and in a small room to begin with we just have enough room for his crib, so everything else is scattered thru out the else...his bassinet will be in our room, his changing table is out in the living room the rest of his stuff is in the dining room, his clothes are in one drawer of a dreser in my daughters room that i was able to make room for....i see pics of nursery and i wish we were able to do a room for him
I won't be able to have a nursery for Isaiah either. We found out tonight that DH's aunt is paying for us to move into an apartment ASAP as we are having a lot of issues with our landlord and the house, so we will be in a 3 bedroom apartment until we get our credit cleaned up a little more to purchase a house. Isaiah will be in our room for the first year, and then after that he is sharing a room with my son so he will never have a "nursery" but we do plan on decorating one wall of our room for Isaiah since thats where his pack and play will be at.
No nursery to prep here either baby will be rooming in with us until we either find another place to rent, or hopefully fine "the" house we've been searching for.
No nursery for my baby either. He will be in a pack n' play in our room. We have all the nursery furniture because we thought we would have a spare room..well we won't. The furniture is still in boxes in the garage. I would love to decorate one as well.
We don't have one. DD has her room and we have ours. Baby will be sleeping with us for who knows how long. We have a house but there are only two bedrooms on the main floor. We will eventually be buying another house but we aren't in any rush. It honestly doesn't bother me to not be able to decorate another nursery. I don't want to spend the money right now He or she will get a room eventually.
We have a 2 bedroom home, and the older two already share the second room. The baby will room with us for the first year or so, then move to the other room eventually. We SO need a bigger house....
Josiah and Jamison will be sharing a room. We'll be keeping the same "theme" but rearranging things. I still think of Josiah's room as the "nursery" since we haven't redecorated since he was born. I'm looking forward to getting it all set up for two
No nursery here either. We have 4 bedrooms, but all are occupied. DH is insisting that dd will be sleeping with us once she outgrows her co-sleeper and he has no desire to even buy a crib. We were going to make the "family room" in the basement our bedroom and then shift all the kids around so that all the kids have their own rooms, but dh changed his mind...at least for now. It will be a couple of years before we make any of those changes and hopefully by then we will have the opportunity to move to a bigger home.
No nursery here. We have a 3 bedroom and 2 kids already, so he wont have his own room till we get a bigger house but im ok with it cause I like them in our room for at least the first year.
Same here, I'm using my own room as a nursery, I'm gonna split it up My grandpa stays with my mom and I, so the extra room we had he occupies. I admit I'm getting a little envious about nurseries too, just because I picture a really large room in my head decorated the way I want to. But for now I'm just gonna have to wing it and make do with my room. I'm gonna paint one side so it looks somewhat realistic lol. I don't even have room for a regular crib co-sleeper for me I guess.
No nursery here either. Never had one for any of my kids, and it is not fun to never have that experience, but we're dealing with what we have.
Ditto this exactly. Kinda sucks never being able to do one. I'm just looking forward to the day we're out of here and in our own place and I can do big kid rooms for the kids.
My mom and one of my best friends both shared rooms with their siblings their whole time growing up and they loved it and love their siblings. I can see how you'd feel sad about it... but it's your love and care that's important.
We won't be doing a nursery either. We have a 2 bedroom duplex and right now my stepdaughter is in one room and we sleep with Jackson in our bed because she's using the crib mattress (long story, basically we had to take her in pretty quickly because her mom has issues). Anyway, the plan is that a friend of mine is giving us a futon for her (we can't afford a bed right now) and we'll set up the crib for Jackson and they'll share a room. When Jaymeson comes, we'll set the basinett back up on the pack n play and he'll sleep next to our bed. I'm not making the mistake of having a baby in the bed with us again, Jackson pretty much won't sleep without me as of now. Hopefully this will change when we get the sleeping arrangements figured out.
When we had our first baby, we lived in a 1 bedroom condo...no nursery. When we had our second baby we lived in our house, which is 3 bedrooms, but we chose to put the boys in the same room because the third bedroom is upstairs...no nursery. I'm having my third baby now and this baby will actually get a nursery because we are switching around rooms. In my experience, babies don't really care as much as mommies do about furniture, bedding, lamps, etc. My uncle's first child slept in a dresser drawer so that should make you feel better. hahaha
No nursery for me either. I had one with my first one only. We were in the process of moving with baby number two, so we just never got around to it.
The last two as well as this baby will room with us and then go into their siblings' room. I only have a three bedroom house and four kids already. I am ok with that. But I will admit I am a little jealous of those who are able to have one. At least I have some super cute bedding for her!!
No nursery here. We live a two bedroom town home both of my other kids already share a room, so Gavin will be rooming with us for now until we move which won't be until next year...
