This is not baby related, but please remember my family tomorrow. In November 2011 my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3-4 lung cancer. We received a very dismal diagnosis at first, but after intense chemo & radiation along with a true miracle from the Lord, he was found to be cancer free! Since May of last year he's had two clear scans. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Tomorrow we get the results from his 6 month PET scan. For some reason this time I'm uneasy. I need to stay off Google! Please pray for comfort & another clear scan. Thanks ladies!!!
UPDATE:
It wasnt as good as hoped for. Something showed up in the same spot as before. He's hopeful its just scar tissue b/c he said its unusual to reoccur in the same place that was radiated. His bloodwork was good & lungs sounded good. He will have a biopsy in the next week & that'll tell us for sure. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Thanks.

Prayers being sent your way, girl! I lost my Dad to lung cancer in 2009, and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I hope your Dad will have many, many more years with your family

I will definitely be praying. I lost my father to cancer when I was pregnant with Josiah... I know how nerve-wracking it is waiting for those blasted results to be ready!! Wishing your father all the best as he continues to fight the fight!

I hope its just scar tissue too! thats scary but Im so glad your dad has gotten so much better just since Nov. thats AWESOME!!! my mom died of breast cancer and I know how hard it is... CANCER SUCKS BUTT!!! I hope he kicks it in the butt once and FOR ALL!!! I will keep your dad and your whole family in my T&P's!
