I cant tell if these are BH or just the baby pushing out. Every time I get them it becomes a little difficult to breathe like when I get BH. I have been getting tons of them since yesterday morning. They don't hurt just uncomfortable because I feel out of breath when I get them. I am definitely getting about 4 or more an hour on the average.

I think if you're ever in doubt then you should call.

Yep, call or go in. I was told 4 or more an hour to go in and be checked. As always, better safe than sorry!

Have you tried lying down and drinking? I think if you change activities and get fluids and they're STILL coming then definitely go to the L and D. But if you're ever in doubt then I would always go in.

Its been a couple hours now. Did you decide to go in? Are you still getting them? My dr. says more then 5 in an hour, but I would still go in to get checked to be sure.

I am still getting them. I sold my motorcycle the other night, and the guy that bought it is having a hard time with it, so my SO went down there to help him with it. I am feeding kids now then going to lay down, and if they are still coming when he gets home I am going in. I have been chugging water all day. At first I was chalking it up to nervousness about custody court today, but they started yesterday, and are still coming and courts over with. I will update either tonight if I go in, or in the morning if they subside and I am able to sleep. Thanks for the advice ladies.

Thinking of you! I definitely think you need to head in if they don't subside tonight. My OB told me at my last appt. that if I have more than TWO contractions in an hour, she wants a phone call from me. Update us when you can.

I hope they went away and you were able to get some sleep... I would always go in when in doubt, but I will tell you this; I've been getting a TON of BH. One day last week it was so bad that they came back to back almost for an hour! Not really painful or anything, but constant hardening of my uterus. So it was way, way more than 4 or 5 an hour; it was more like 4 or 5 every 10-15 minutes! I asked my midwife and she told me that some women just get them more than others. I do stand all day while I'm at work and that probably has something to do with it. They've been better since I've cut my hours back and only work until 1pm now. She told me that if they stay back to back for 2 hours to let them know.

But yeah, in your case, I would go in today or at least call, if you are still getting them. Good luck!!

I got a few that woke me up throughout the night, and I have been awake for 2 hours and have had a handful, but nothing like the past two days. I won't be calling or heading in unless the pick up again.

Glad you're doing ok for now. I've had them pretty frequently lately, mainly in the evening though. I am not on my feet a lot, except for what is necessary with 2 little ones needing things all the time. I've been timing them pretty much every day, but haven't felt the need to go in just yet. I'll be asking about it all tomorrow though at my appointment. One contraction last night felt like cramps before the contraction started, usually I don't feel that. Sometimes they hurt, but not very often. I haven't had any wake me up yet, but I have been kicked awake!

Some of them are really uncomfortable, and I probably should have gone in last night, but really didnt want to go sit there by myself lol I am not usually on my feet until I am home from work cooking dinner and what not. My next appt is not until Aug 31, but if they act up again I will call.
