I should be holding my little guy at this time next week I am starting to freak out a little. My c-section is scheduled for 7:45. I can't believe it is time! I was thinking back last night of the year we had. I found out Sept 15 last year I was pregnant and we lost our angel on Oct 13. It is crazy how things were so terrible just a year ago and now we will be welcoming our rainbow baby! It is a bittersweet time for us!
Now if I can get this family well. Everyone has a nasty cough. Raylee woke up last night choking from all the crap in her throat. I was ready to take her to the ER, but my husband convinced me to just call first and see what they suggested! Of course they said she has the croup . They told us some natural remedies since she can not have any of the cough medicine. Around 2 we all finally got back to sleep and she slept the rest of the night. DH is just getting over it and I am just now getting it as well! It is miserable! I just hope we can all get healthy before next week! UGH!
How exciting! Sorry about the illness. There are homeopathis cough medicines that are safe for kids 2 and up. We like Chestal every 2 hours, as well as Hylands nighttime cold and cough. You have to administer them more frequently than regular cough medicine, but they are better than nothing.
mama to 5 yr old DS1 , 3 year old DS2 , and nursling DD .
we had a similar circumstance, I know what you mean. Last summer we lost one... and I remember being so depressed, and now in just a little over a week we're going to have two new people in our house! it's surreal!
Yaaayy, so exciting think about; hope everyone gets healthy by then. I lost a pregnancy the same month (November) the previous year before I had dd the next November. I still think of my angel every time November rolls around but I also know that I wouldn't have dd otherwise. it is bittersweet.
