Saw this question on another due date club... I'm taking 12 weeks. I'd planned on starting next August (I work for a school district) but I think I may have changed my mind. Lol. I'm loving my little one and have tons of respect (major) for sahm's but I don't think I can or want to stay at home that long. Thankfully, I'll have the entire summer off so I will be home with him when he gets to the more "active" stage. What about you?

I'm a SAHM. I tried going back to work after I had Liam and I was just a complete mess, couldn't do it. It has meant MAJOR sacrifices but it's definitely worth it for us.

I am hoping to take 8 weeks ... go back to school for a week ... and then have Christmas break. Hoping it will work out! I'll only get paid for 6 weeks, so we will have to figure it out.

I am off work now. I am using up some vacation until the baby is born. My maternity leave will start the day the baby is born and then I will be off for a year.

I started my leave Sept 19 and go back Feb 19. So 5 months. I will collect temporary disability for my 6-8 weeks pp. after that unpaid. I wish I could be a SAHM, but there is just no way we could afford it.

I am a SAHM and am so thankful I can. I dont trust many people with my babies. They are with me all the time besides being at school.
