Lol Amanda!

Sorry Jill! There are lots of youtube videos on pressure points you can stimulate to start labor; maybe work some more of those on your own? There is one between your ankle and your Achilles tendon that's supposed to work well.

I'm going in Monday, I will be 2 days shy of 40 weeks, she said if I make it to our appt Monday "we would discuss our options" I will for sure ask for a sweep! My cervix if def favorable, 3cm dilated 80% effaced as of 1.5 weeks ago and they said it was really soft. She said then that I had a buldging bag of water just sitting there waiting to break..... BREAK!!!!!!! hahha

Go sidewalking! Looks absolutely ridiculous, but it can help bring on labour! Walk with one foot on the sidewalk and one on the street. The shifting of your pelvis in this position can help baby engage farther down to put more pressure on your cervix and hopefully trigger some excellent contractions!

That's neat, Shawna! I've never heard of that. I have heard of walking sideways up stairs! lol. You could always give that a try too, Jill.

Maybe I'll do that, it's FREEZING here today, literally like 30 degrees and wet outside. We have a 2 story house and a basement, so 2 flights of stairs.. Gonna get after that!

What put me into labor both was lots of walking on uneven terrain, lol. The first pregnancy I had a sweep and then went walking up and down tons of stairs Rocky style at Prospect Park in NY. Then my second time I booked it around a pond on a very muddy trail with a jogging stroller that had flat tires.

Were going to get Mexican food for lunch, I'm ordering spicy food. Then we're going to walk!! I don't care where, it can be Walmart for all I care!! We can't do any outdoor walking today, it's in the 30's and raining. My in laws come into town tomorrow, and it will be nicer outside

Last night while we were watching a movie I started to get really good cramps and consistent contractions from 950pm-10:45, nothing to painful, but consistent, then it stopped =( Nothing to crazy since.

My in-laws get in today at 3:30. Hopefully Jett is just waiting for his other Gma to get here....

My girlfriend who got the acupuncture last week on Fri went into labor on Sunday at 3:30am. She started at 1cm dilated and 0% effaced, I'm 3cm and 80% So at this point I think it did not work. Jett is not ready =(
